Tao has a better chance of staying the same over Chihaya. I really don't see Chihaya staying it's way, it's like... the most Japanese name for guys. I might see him as a Chris... Tao could maybe be Thomas, but that would just be really kinda stupid.
Roomi I can see as Rachel the most. And that's really the only English name I'd like for her. Renee would be way too... young in my opinion.

I think both Rachel and Renee fit Roomi, but that's just me.

Natsume's good at butchering names. I wouldn't put it past them to give Chihaya a girl's name.
Names are still basically the same first letter, or sound the same. Like Kotomi and Candice, they sound pretty similar. Pat and Phoebe. I could get used to Chewawa being Samantha.
Ah, I forgot Natsume would change the names*snaps fingers*. I don't know what they'll change it to but this is what I think what they would chose.
Mai=Mia
Leena= Lin, Linda, Lela, Leeanne, Lulu.
Cathy=My mom's name (not cool)
Kotomi= Katrina.
Roomi= Renee(My cousins name is Rachel which = a no no)
Anise= Allysa, Annie, Anise, Anise, Anise.

Gil= something awesome like Bartholomew or Bartimeaus(my favorite names but I doubt it).

I want some characters to have strange names because I hate how mostly all the characters have common, standard names. Once in a while, we'll get a Popuri or a Nami, but hardly ever. Anissa's close enough, I guess.
I'd be overjoyed if Chihaya became Chai. It makes sense. Chihaya's official art has him holding tea and Chihaya works with food. And to boot, chai's my favorite drink. I can see Roomi having a strange name as well, but the way things are going, it's probably going to be Rachel or Renee or Rommy (actually, I would prefer Rommy out of the other names speculated for her).
Me 2! But Candice makes me think blond and outgoing which Katomi is not. Reenee for Roomi would be like copying sailor moon O__o because she is just like the Reenee in sailor moon!
