Now that we know how cool the NDS really is, I just thought of an idea for HM to use this system. You know you always have to plant 8 of the 9 squares in all the old HM games? With the DS, you can now plant all 9 squares. You can water and harvest by using the stylus.
The second screen can be used to keep track of an extra helper. Maybe your wife. You can give tasks to her and let her do it. You can keep track of her progress with the second screen. Or maybe keep track of your live stock in real time. Do all kinds of things. You have any HM DS ideas? Let's hear it.

Yeah but you still can't harvest the crop in the center unless you chop down one of your plants. Allowing you to make the most out of your 9 crops doesn't seem like cheating.

I think he's saying you wouldn't have to walk there - you could just tap it even though it's beyond your reach. Which doesn't sound like an ideal method to me.
I think they could combine the best qualities of AWL and FoMT and make an awesome game for the DS.

well kyou really only have that problem with weak watering cans and summer crops, because in the other seasons, once you harvest the outer crops you can reach the inner one
