Guu~? What does it mean?!?!

I just got AWL about two days ago and practically haven't put the GC controller down. But every so often (according to the clock every hour, almost on the hour), the dude just freezes, makes this weird noise, big white letters that say "Guu~" appear behind him, then he goes on with whatever I told him to do. WHY?!?! It's really starting to scare me...

When I first got this game( May 15th 2004) I was thinking what guu means but then I figured it out. It means u are hungry. Give your character some food to eat like wild plant and stuffs. Not flowers of course. If u don't feed him, he goes all upset and when u tell him to sleep there will be a picture of him with a stupid face but once u make him have a smily face on, he will have lots of ffod surrounding him when u sleep.If he is just normal like he is not happy and not upset, when u sleep nothing will be on the picture.
