Last Cursed Tool Help

For the life of me, I just cannot find the last cursed tool in the 3rd mine (the fishing pole). I got all the others in one nice trip and I decursed them, but the pole still eludes me. :S I've tried a few floors and I reset said floors a few times, too. Heck, I even made sure I went over both "patterns" on each floor (I'm playing Cute and for some reason the stairs show up in two different spots depending on where you dig first - I found before that getting one set of stairs first would lead to a tool, but not the other way. Is this true, or insanity on my part?)

Since I can't stand that music anymore, I'm going to try listening to the radio.

Anyone have any pointers? :D

save on the floor before you go down to get the cursed tool. this way if you go down and the tool isnt there when you reload you have to go down the stairs again, and it will reload a whole new floor with different items, hopefully the cursed tool your looking for.

if you just reload on the same floor it wont put the tool there, it will be exactly the same as before.

Yeah, I know - I keep Save 1 as the floor above and Save 2 as that floor. :S

It's not giving me anything. Should I maybe leave most of my tools at home?

just keep trying its random each time

i counted once it took me 47 tries to get the cursed watering can before it gave me

just just keep digging and reloading

Indeed - I must have hit it twice on accident, although I don't remember doing so. :/

Oh well. Thanks for the info, then. I haven't played in weeks, so I forgot a bit.

At least I'm signed in today.

So many posts as Anon Fish only to have my counter reset. *sigh*

Okay, I finally got it. :D 4 hours later, but... That's how it goes with these HM games.

Also what you will want to do in the future is instead of double posting on purpose is to use the edit button on your 1st post and then add whatever you want.

cause if you double post constantly people will get rather upset
