1.I hear people saying that if u wash Galen's tomb he gives you a fishing rod.

2.In a website it said there will be a new mode where u can keep playing and never die. Is this true? here is the prove that they said it.http://gsserver.co.uk/site/shop/products/3307210154828/

I thought about that washing thing, as the doctor hinted to that, but I couldn't figure out how to do it...I got out my brush and it wouldn't let me wash it...Galen does give you a fishing rod, but that's just if you're good friends with him. I'm not sure if you can wash the tombstone in a cut-scene or something.

The new AWL: For Girl will have the free-play mode, where you can keep playing forever and never die. Unfortunately, they left this out of the guy version. :(

I did the same thing as u, got out the brush and try brushing it but won't let me so I got the watering can and staill won't let me. Sigh..
I also can't give him gifts in chapter 2 cos all he says is if it isn't u and then he says just leave me alone while I was showing him a fish.

Right, he won't accept gifts from me either. Perhaps in the later chapters? It probably doesn't hurt to talk to him daily and try to give him gifts either. The fishing rod he gives you isn't really special or anything though.

Go to his house early in the morning (6 - 7 am) and talk to him when he's outside by the grave. You can then wash it for him. Washing the grave raises your friendship with him since he's too depressed to accept gifts from you.

Ahh, thanks Cher. I would've never figured that out as I'm always fishing that early in the morning. ;)

After I cleaned it I saw a ghost of Nia saying thank you that's enough for now. (When I first played this game I only gave her one flower and she is already my friend)

Whoa, creepy. Does Galen say anything different or accept gifts or anything now?

No he doesn't but he will be your friend. Now that he is my friend but he still won't give me the fishing rod.

You mean where they were talking about Harvest Goddesses living in springs and collecting "wonderful things" and stuff? They're just saying that to make you work hard...there's never actually a Harvest Goddess in the game. :(

Yep, totally pointless and misleading. AWL is one of very few Harvest Moon games that doesn't have the Harvest Goddess then. :(
