How did you manage that? I tricked my mom into letting me get IoH by just calling it Island of Happiness(leaving the Harvest Moon part out because she thinks I have to many of that series, but she likes the idea of having HM for the Wii because she says the Wii is active and it's bound to be a game I like.)

Mom: *spacing out* thats nice dear.
Me: AND ITS GOT TONS OF NEW STUFF LIKE BLAH BLAH OSTRICHES AND BLAH BLAH GIL AND BLAH BLAH
Mom: cool....sounds like fun *spacing
Me: If you buy it, I'll let you play it.
Mom: ok. *still spacing*
Me: WOOOOOOT!! *runs away*
Mom: *stops spacing* DAMMIT

I feel your pain. I share it with you...but I bet you by tomorrow just by coming to the forum and seeing everyone flood the board with questions will make you even happier. You'll have your hands on the game by then too, definitely.

But on days like this..time really does go by too slow! D:

I would never be able to do that, my mom's to observant so I have to be careful what I say:

Me: Hi, mom do you need help with anything.
Mom: Yes, could you make some lemonade and vacuum?
Me: Sure*does what she says*
Mom: Good job, now all you need to do is ask me for what you want.
Me: There's this game that comes out on the 27th, and I was wondering if you'll take me to Gamestop to go get it. I'll pay for it, and I'll call Target to cuz it's closer and see if it's there.
Mom: I'm not saying yes and I'm not saying no. Maybe we'll get a chance to get it maybe not.

Is the guide worth getting? Does it have all of the heart events and rival heart events and all of that?

Yes it has everything. The heart events and all are in the back and it tells you which event you go to next depending on your answer for the previous event.
It's very useful...and the character pages are cute and detailed.

I'm getting the guid more as a colocter thing and not so much needing it..

There's a rumor that the game got pushed back to October 27th.........
