I own HMDS 1.0 (Ugh  ) and I am not interested in cheating at all and I was curious if there is a way to stop the Milker Glitch from happening. (Leveling up every time you use it)

I've heard that you can stop it by leaving the room/area that you leveled it up for the first time in, but I'm not sure if this is true...

Please help?

i know me and HG are against cheating, but if your game does it, don't you get like 99 milk each time? or is that something else...if it is then that stinks.

If it's a glitch, then technically it's not your fault. Therefore, not cheating. Just taking advantage.

I've never heard of this glitch screwing up your game, though. The ones that screw up your game are those where doing thing X results in the impossible thing Y. Such as, hiring the fishing team resulting in a Billion G, or milking the horse resulting in milk. Here, the milker leveling up code just has a tiny bug, from what I can tell it just doesn't reset the counter after it fills up. You still use the milker to get milk, it's not unnatural.

Nothing you can really do about it, and there's no reason to be ashamed. Though bragging with your level 99 milker is kind of iffy.

If you have cows, you are eventually going to have a high leveled milker. All you can really do is refrain from milking the air and only milk cows.

I know it doesn't screw up your game, but I want to play the game without cheating to get money or anything.

Maybe I'll just throw away my milker once it levels up then buy another one and throw that one away when it levels up and keep doing that until the milker would actually be level 99... idk :P

As stated, it won't be cheating since you can't really help it.

Who says you have to sell the milk, though? Throw it away, or eat it.

You could ship the unwanted milk to work toward buying the island and getting the channel 9 sprite. Having the milk glitch isn't all bad :)

You'd have to ship a hell of a lot of milk alone, to make enough money. For the channel 9 sprite, milk is good with a high level milker. But relying on milk for money.. not so good. I'd invest in crop upgrading.

Yeah, i got pluto by shiping milk and now i make it into cheese and can it. So thats 800 pieces of cheese a day. But to add to that i have leveled up crops. And i'm still no where near buying the island :( I want to train the fishing team but i'm scard.

You'd have to ship 2 Million pieces of cheese, through the cannery, to make the 900 Million requirement. Start looking into crop upgrading. Turnips are the easiest, in three in-game years you could have your turnips level 100 and then money will never be a problem.

go ahead and train the fishing team. just don't put them on the ocean except perhaps in Spring or Summer. that way you won't accidently run over and trigger the glitch.
