Well, I'm more used that "farm" than "ranch". "Lucky Farm" sounds better than "Lucky Ranch". :D

i called my farm 'forest' farm once, my character was 'woods' my dog was 'Wolf' and my cat was 'coyote'. i also had TONS of trees,

I forgot about that. It was either that or the word "Mushroom" in japanese. I forgot what it was though xD
