what is your favourite TV show in the history of HM? which game had the best shows in it?

i say that nothing can beat the BTN shows. WYP?! was the best show ever. it pwned all the other shows in such an epic way that it had to have been the best. (i like all the BTN shows except the shogi hour - that one bored me to no end, but i also have no clue how to play shogi. i'm sure it would bore me, even if i did. @___@)

i was always sad when i expanded my house because then the shopping channel would come on, and i couldn't watch WYP?! anymore. D: i was also sad when they got rid of justa hasbin and brought in wadda hunk. i liked justa hasbin, the poor guy!

(for those who don't know, the show was a talk show-like setup, where there were two hosts and then people would write in and talk about what their passion was, and the hosts would discuss it on the show. they would also sometimes interview random people in the street, but the random people liked to run away.)

I never really watch TV. Occasionally I'll stick on the weather channel so I can be prepared for a blizzard or hurricane, but other than that...not much. It'd be more interesting if they didn't flash the same three panels every two seconds.

The BTN shows were a bit entertaining, and occasionally really, really weird (Did my dog just write a song about me!? What the pafargtle?) FoMT completely ruined the TV. They're even slower paced then BTN, and if there is anyone here who can actually follow along with Star Lilly: Bandit Girl, you DESERVE a medal of some sort. And what happened to Mechabot Ultror, it was actually fun in BTN, but in FoMT the pace is even slower then most shows and...well, here's a reenactment of a couple episodes:

Mechabot Ultror:

Red: Let's get some snacks!

NEXT WEEK: THEY GET SNACKS!!!!...or will they!?

(1 week later)

Mechabot Ultror:

Yellow: What kind of snacks!?

NEXT WEEK: THEY DECIDE!!!!...or do they?

What happened to weird cloud monsters and giant robots?

i agree about mechabot ultror on summer vacation. when they went back to school, though, it was lame. D: darn FoMT, runing my shows!

i also really like the fairy and me. haha. XD;; it's bad, i know.

the educational channel was even more interesting in BTN. D: "farmer fran! farmer fran!" "yes, jimmy?" "-insert incredibly stupid question here-" "-insert snarky reply here-"

I did love how snarky the farming help show was. Actually, when Stu was like "Get me an Ultror for my birthday," I was like "sdlkjsafkg ME TOO!!!11111oneoneeleven". And still, years later, my farmer on DS Cute loves her Ultror. Mechabots ftw. Doesn't it suck that the English version of Cute took out most of the TV channel? That detective thing was lame. Ah, for the good old days of in-game television. Well, in ToT the TV's supposed to work on a time schedule, so that'll at least be interesting. "Can't finish watering. Gotta run home and catch Ultror."

Lol, that sounds really cool. I wish I had BTN. I bet I'd like that show, too.

Hmm...my favorite? The only one I really watched every week was...er..."My Dear Princess"...I have no idea why, I guess I just didn't have the attention span for some of the others, and I like fantasy stuff...

Star Lily actually went somewhere... after about 5 cycles of the same 3 episodes. I watched it, but if I missed it, it was no big deal.

Ultror was great in BTN. In FoMT? Not so much. I stopped watching it after the first year. Was there ever any sort of... conflict, at all?

I can't remember many of the shows in BTN aside from Ultror, so I guess my 'favourite' goes to the watchable one in FoMT, My Dear Princess. It had a plot, characters, and it's pacing, while slow, wasn't stupid.

I never really watched T.V. when I played and I never got to experience BTN because it was too old.

But from the ones I've seen, HMDS was kind of funny.

I mean, seeing if you've gotten over the yen limit on the school lunch for the field trip?! GENIUS.

What I really hated was that boy and girl swap show. After like, three episodes it was so boring. :]

Aw, it's been so long since I played BTN so I forgot about the TV shows. Same with SNES. But since I'm playing MFoMT right now, my favorite show would be My Dear Princess. D: What? It's kind of cute. And then I like watching Dueling Chefs for the lulz. OH! And Aaron Changes!

I never really watched tv that much... unless it was the Chef one in Mineral Town. I loved to watch them battle and for one chef to use rocks in their recipe. :D The only other time I've watched tv was in AnWL, just to pass the time... before the child was born. You don't really have to farm, so yeah. I didn't. It made it kind of boring, but whenever I did plant something, it just hated me... they should've let you get some sprinklers. D: Anyway, I'd watch some shows like... uh, one was about a band I think, it never did pass a certain episode, idiotic channel, and I think another had something to do with school or romance, or perhaps both. Then I watched the one that told me my luck... in the end, all it ever tells you to do is drink... I guess to be happy and have great vitality, I need to be a lush. D: -memory is really bad and remember what the shows were called-
