Hello there! Sorry for not making an account - I just have a teeny tiny question, so I didn't think it would be necessary.
I like to chat with all of the villagers and tourists who come stumbling into my town, so I'm constantly checking my list to see if I have any new arrivals. I've gotten several, but there's just one inhabitant who I've never seen or spoken to. His name is Jon, and he's supposedly been on my island for awhile now, but I just can't seem to find him anywhere! He doesn't have an "absent" note by his name, so I'd assume he's still on the island somewhere... the main question being, where?

Does anyone know where I can find "Jon"? I looked it up a few times, but the best clue I could find was "Old Man". An "Old Man" character named "Jon"... Can anyone help me? Thanks!

I think he hangs out by the well in area 2... but i'm not sure...

Do you have any idea what time he hangs out around there? The only one I've seen near that area is Lloyd - Lanna's obsessive fanboy.
Thank you for the tip, though! I'll patrol the area more attentively and see if I can track the elusive old fart down.

When you click on assets and the people icon how many points do you get per heart?

I have 2 hearts with Mirabelle and I cant seem to get the dog, Any Advice?

0.0 Don't understand the first part.

But for the second part, you might need 2 1/2 instead of just 2. Try to befriend her, wait a few days, and see what happens.

Edit: You might need this also.

The dog comes from befriending Mirabelle up to almost 2 hearts and then walking into the Forest area from Area 1 when it is Rainy, Drizzly, or Snowy weather. You also need to have at least 1 poultry or livestock animal on your farm. You'll trigger an event where the animal shop owner is hunting for a dog wearing a scarf. When the two of you locate the puppy, Mirabelle asks that you take care of it on your farm

What's the max amount of chickens and barn animals you can have with the coop and barn fully upgraded?

12 chickens, and 12 cows/sheep.

[12 barn animals TOTAL]

you only get one each but once you expand them, they're huge, 12 each

I think you need it to complete the cycle for the trees in the greenhouse. Cher explains it on the greenhouse page.
