whats the gestation rate for a cow?

i know in other games it was 1 month

so i loved the gaemboy advance harvest moon game, but the ds version just went soooo fast! i gave up 'cause i couldn't gat anything done in a day. i mean i wanted them to speed it up but... anyway i absolutely love runefactory. they took the other harvest moons, anime'd it up, got rid of all the « Puppy Doodoo » you hated in the other games and made it interesting. so these are my question: will i like this harvest moon island of happiness, or will it be as tedious as i found the ds version? and has playing rune factory spoiled me for any other harvest moon game?

It's very similar to the DS version, but more complicated/challenging. As for the tedious...ness, it's similar in those aspects. It's still farming/mining/fishing/etc. like HMDS. So it really depends on what you didn't like about HMDS as to if you'd like IoH.

is it as fast as ds version? i could not get anything done in a day!

Yes, all harvest moon games go at the same time rate.

How do you, "set the hook" on your fishing rod? I can fish fine, until you get to that point. I click on everything I can, the fishing rod, my person, and can't figure out how to reel in a fish. x__x

What I do is use the D-pad or the ABXY buttons. Say I have the fishing rod set on the left (where the Y button would be). I just press the left or Y button and the character uses the fishing rod. Then press it again when he gets the over his head.

don't you need to raise the level of your tool? you always have in the past. is there a smith?
