Ushi No Tane Forum

My first impression was AMAZING. It lived up to my expectations well. It was annoyng, however, because I spent the first actual day walking, because I didn't know that you couldn't run if you have red stamina

Quick Review:

Graphics: LOVE. OH MAI GOODNESS. And the people...are PEOPLE. They don't fit into stupid stereotypes. (lol goddess-spanking scene)

Voice Over: .....no.

Difficulty: Pretty hard at first, but it eases out. The Wiimote being so sensitive with tools is a « Baaaa *glomp* », though. Stamina is « Snuggly Bunny ».

Overall, the game's good. Loading times make me fall asleep, but that's okay. I wish there were prizes for winning minigames. The ability to have SO MANY pet choices is « Snuggly Bunny » awesome. The bachelor/ettes are all cool. Except for the OBVIOUS 4-year-old.
New names bug me. WHY ANOTHER L IN GIL?!

I love it so far, the again I am just at the end of Spring.

I love the fact the map is big, but I hate hunting people down...

I also enjoy the part time jobs, I just settled on working at the clinic everyday after I shipped all my produce for the day (Unless I need to go get more seeds or get my house upgraded.) And on Mondays I go mining or fishing. I like my system so far.

Isn't there supposed to be some sort of people-stalker mechanism? I've seen it in screenshots/videos but not used it myself.

Yes, you can stalk people. xD Just click on them in the menu and their face will show up in the corner of the screen telling you where they are. There's also an arrow around their picture so you know exactly where in the area.

I love this game. I'm in the fall I have Kathy at seven hearts. I got the first house upgrade, I got a barn and chicken coop, though I only have one chicken. I got to look up the marraige requirements.

And yes, the stalker device is awesome. I stalk Gill :> It always says where he's going, and that's usually Hamilton's house, Waffle Town, and the Square Area/Town Hall. I think he goes to the church on his day off.

The translations are actually AMAZING... and I am literally falling in love with all the bachelors... they are so cute and adorable and have such personality...

I have to say I'm even getting a soft spot for Owen and Luke... 0.0

I love the bachelorettes too... but I tend to avoid them because I must woo ALL boys before marriage XD

The island is so fantastically beautiful... and though the graphics themselves aren't groundbreaking... the whole visual setup is just astounding. I freakin' want to live there in RL X3

The animals system is so much better than the last games... and omigosh all teh animals is sooo kyoot <3 XD The little baby horseys omg <3


I actuallt really like the music too... it's pretty catchy :D

But I have to say the sound is absolute « Puppy Doodoo ». I don't know how much of that is owed to American redubbing/rerecording or whatever... but the sounds could use a lot of work.

I love how you can raise heart levels by merely talking and doing part time jobs instead of gouging your bank account to offer people presents every day... and I love how you can put random « Puppy Doodoo » in the tool box


One thing that sucks is that OMG BROWNIE RANCH IS HUGE WTH

OK and does anyone else think Herbal/Hamilton is extremely creepy...? He had like the most affection for me in the town out of anyone and I barely ever talked to him... and whenever cutscenes happen... little heart appear above his head... *ahem* Weird
