Depends what gift you give them. If you give them their favorite gift (+10 FP), they won't accept any more for the day. You can give them 2 things they really like (+5FP), and so on.. but can't go over 10 FP worth of gifts per day.

I have completed all 5 heart events and it is sunny, but I have been reading that after you get married you automatically get the double bed. I haven't met the other three bachelors though so I think that might be the key. He keeps saying he's busy and to come back later and won't accept it.

I'm not sure about that. You could test it though, go buy a Double Bed then try proposing. Save before, and see if it works. =)

I was just reading what NurseFin said, that it comes free :D.

And what I said came from Ranch Story. I did buy a double bed before marriage because apparently you only get a plain one if you haven't bought one already. And the plain one looks ugly and wouldn't match my interior decor. I haven't put it to the test myself, so I'm just parroting what I heard from Marie waaaay back when the game first came out. D:
