You know, maybe the guy you talked to had been getting a lot of calls like yours, so he was really annoyed. That's no excuse for the way he talked to you, though.

Ok, so I called back and I actually spoke to someone who was actually competent for once.

He apologized for the way that other employee treated me and he told me that they're working with Marvelous right now to see what they can do. They also said they got like a million calls and emails and are trying their hardest to see what they can do about it. He also said that I could send the game in to the technicians, but that most likely would take weeks and weeks to see any results. I asked him if they were going to fix it and he told me that they can't release any info now about what's going on but if I called back next week sometime they might have information.


That's better news than I expected



and lol the best part about it is the guy was like "Man I Know!! Calvin is one of my favorite characters, too!!"

they probably don't know much more than that themselves, so it isn't like they could really help you much more. they could tone down the rudeness, but it could also be your mind projecting onto them (not saying that you are wrong, since everyone does it) and they may not have been as rude as you thought.

once the glitch is confirmed and once they have more information, then you will probably be able to get more information. you also have to keep in mind that customer service reps are still human, and that they don't know every new little piece of information that the techs find out as soon as they know it. the information has to be processed and make its way to the reps first.
You are right but it just get frustrating after having the game pushed back so much that they could miss something so big. Not to mention some of us are starting to lose are patients with Natsume and all there mistakes. I get that they need time, but they still need to expect that there are going to be angry consumers and that it doesn't give them the right to be rude.

Well, I love all the bachelors and I was having a terrible time deciding who to marry. >.<

For those of you just tuning in to this topic, it seems like it is only Calvin who had this bug, people from here and GameFAQs have pretty much confirmed everyone including Phoebe were unaffected. So yes it seems just Calvin got this glitch.

dang good thing the glitch did not appear on Julius. there would be holy **** everywhere.

I haven't had a chance to call yet, but it's nice to know others have been on top of it. Thanks a bunch to the people that did call the number and get some information.

Here's hoping things get fixed properly.

At least they're trying this time. They just left HM:DS glitches to be abused, then let all those hard working files be corrupted.

PROGRESS! maybe I'll get Calvin afterall~<3

well all we can do is wait, it's not like sending them e-mails or calling them a billion times will help any.. at least we noticed the glitch to them....makes me wonder if they even have beta-testers to test things out like this...

Atleast they are trying here. If it fails I dont wanna see people say they fail. They cant exactly fix the game if they dont have help(from my understanding)

Agreed.

I was sooo relived when I heard that Owen still works and isn't glitched.
and now I'm like uber happy I haven't gotten the game yet, hopefuly it'll be fixed by christmas time. ^0^

I'm reeeaaaalllyyy sorry Sesshy. first you find out you can't marry Calvin and then some grumpy jerk from Natsume yells at you. lucky for them you got a nicer guy next time.

(I think Phoebe snuck into the coding room and messed with it so no one but her could marry Calvin :shifty: and in case you have to wait a long time... anyone else you like???)

Just so everyone knows "fix" is Natsume-speak for "send it back and when we have a working update, we'll send you one of the new ones." That's what they did for HM:DS, if you called them after they released the updated cartridges.
