How did I get a giant pumpkin in my pumpkin patch? O.o I walked out of my farm-house and over to my plants to water them when I saw the huge pumpkin... How did that happen?

It's almost Halloween season, of course~

When a crop matures, it has a 1/255 chance of becoming a giant one. These giant crops sell for 10x of what the normal crop sells for. Consider yourself lucky.

Wow 10x!? Man that's pretty good for my second year into this game I think...

Thanks Lilangel!

You need to have 4 crops (2x2) of the same level, maturing at the same time, in order to get a chance of them becoming giant. I have managed to get a giant crop only once in the field areas where I am upgrading crops, as the crops in a patch vary in level. For the giant ones, I plant 6 or more bags in one uniform area, all of the same level, and then just reload from the day before maturity, until I get a giant one.

My ultimate goal is to get the circles in the "All" column, for all turnip levels. I'm way on my way already~

i got several giant vegies my first fall season, by then i had enough money (without using any cheats) to buy alot of the carrot and spinach seeds i sowed one of the fields by the mine with all spinach and then replanted with carrots later, i also planted them in some of the smaller plots around town. i used the plot by the goddess pond to try and level my crops. i got several giant carrots and spinach (one or two each) and even got a giant pepper. if you really want the giant ones either use the save and reload trick or plant alot of vegies.

Really 1/255? I find I get them very often, and I don't even use the save/reload trick.

The 1/255 is per crop. If you have multiple crops, the chances go up.

I used to get them all the time, then I erased my game and I haven't got one since. I guess I was lucky... until that fateful day...

I've never had a giant pumpkin. I've had giant Yams, Spinach, Turnips, Potatoes, Cabbage, Corn and Tomatoes.
