I just suggest making one row for your fences. It takes way too much time to reorganize your farm or trying to get through you fence. The wild dog can't get in with one row. Your animals can't get out, either. If someone tells me that they have SEEN with their own 2 eyes that the wild dog can jump over a row of fence, then I will believe them. Until then, I only use 1 row. I have my pet dog to protect my animals.

I also suggest using either gold lumber, stone lumber, sticks or stones when building a fence, because they don't rot.

Well I recall I saw stick and small stone were blown away, not even with storm encounter. And it's risk to get destroyed by lumber team if you hire them to clear your farmland.

well I just have a weird copy of the game then. My animals get easily scared and then unhappy.

Use stone. Not lumber,because that rots all the time.

I'd use lumber, cuz I need stone fer building upgrades... infact, all ya hafta do is just cut out the bad ones and replace them with new ones...

The stone material is the best because you don't have to replace it with a new one compared to lumber.

I used lumber on my first file that I had before I found Ushi and was poor, but then I decided that it looked crappy.

So now that I'm rich and have Ushi, I use Stone. I'm a Stoner. XD

Well me, I use golden lumber and stone.
