You like Yams in real life or in the game?
Be a little more specific plz!

It's just that yams are the only crop that can regrow everyday in the Super field than the regular 2 day regrowth. So... more harvest = more money. Plus, the growing rate is pretty good.

Those of us used to playing M/FoMT Yams (or, Sweet potatoes as they are called in thsoe games) are the road to riches. They regrow fast, and sell for a lot.

However, in HMDS, they're not that great. Sure, they still regrow fast (even every day in the super field) and sell for a nice amount of money, but them being a regrowing crop makes them more difficult to level up. You have to hire the HS to harvest them if you plant them in a large uniform block. And the harvesting every day, chopping down crops, and all is tiring. With turnips in the super field, you get a new harvest every second day, and the field is ready for replanting without chopping down, so that makes them extremely easy to level up.

However, as turnips and Yams are different season crops, they don't compete in that sense.

Ooooh,so thats why. I always wondered that!
In the fall,I should try to grow them. Maybe i'll get a little more money in Mfomt. Yay!
