I believe I read in the fish book that they where there year round, worth 900G. I was in Summer.

Really? I read somewhere that they were a measly 70g.

Haha, I had the HARDEST time with the dumb woodfish >=O! It took me like a season of trying.
But I caught the Tuna my first try xD! I had a level 3 copper fishing rod, and I cought it on the Gull Island with the penguin (east??)

- First - yes the wood fish is worth 900G and is all season
- Second - The person posting above said they caught it at 10:10pm
That would be easy to believe because Alan did say its easier to catch at night.

Wood fish isn't so bad if your lucky and got the right enough experience/level of your rod.
I only had trouble cause I thought you could catch it at level 3, not level 4. :/

I geared myself up getting ready to stay at the Goddess Pond all night for it, Bodigizers, tons of mushrooms, herbs, and junk. Caught the fish on my first try. :D
I did the same with the tuna, I headed there in the early morning about to fish for it all day. Tons of recovery items. Caught it on my second try. :D
I got cocky, though, when I went to go get the Rock Lobster for Toby's request event. Went there with no recovery items at around 10 pm. I ended up fainting....
