The most idiotic thing I can remember doing in AWL (my first game) is:
1. Not being able to figure out where the tools were for half a year.
2. Almost killing my animals for not washing them.
3. Not being able to find Muffy's diary. (I spent 3 seasons giving her gifts and I could not figure out why she didn't accept.)
4. Not using the shipping bin. (still don't)
5. Spending about a good 10,000G worth of gifts on Carter trying to get him to give me that small dog.

My first game was MFOMT ^_^
-I did not know that you could marry in the game!!! I was just trying out Harvest moon for fun without know that we could marry. So I talked, made friends with the townspeople...blah blah... But I paid more attention to Cliff since he seem lonely...LOL! I wanted to be his friend :p It's untill then that I noticed that his heart changed from black to purple...-.-''' And then I checked the game out on Wiki and I was like O.O I married Cliff in the 3rd year.
-I didn't know that we grow different things in different seasons...So I, the idiot, kept watering dried up plants to no avail...-.-'''
-I didn't know what the Harvest Sprites look like!!!!!
-I didn't know how to chase those damn wild dogs away!!! >.<

Okay, my 2nd game is DS Cute, better, but there are still problems...
-I didn't know that I could ship weeds...and all...

My third game is Harvest moon 64...
-I didn't know that you could ONLY drop crops in the goddess pond, because I could drop things other than crops in MFOMT.
-I didn't know how to buy animals or extend my house.
-I didn't know where the beach is...

Okay...that's it ^_^

In nearly every HM game, I always end up wasting seeds in some way. I always forget how many seeds can be planted with one bag or if they are 3x3 or whatever. So, in Magical Melody, I was confused. Somehow I got mixed up with AWL and tilled one square and planted the bag expecting that it only covers one square at a time....Yay!! Wasted seeds! It happened again in Tree of Tranquility. It became a habit now. Whoops.

Oh yeah. xD

I didnt' know how to chase Wild Dogs away in DS Cute, so I spent the whole night chasing that mutt around my farm with my hammer.

My first game was AWL, but I had a guide for that one.

Now, my second game, FoMT, is a different story. xD
I gave Popuri, like, one flower a week and littered and « Puppy Doodoo », and I was like "WHY DOESN'T SHE LOVE ME? SCREW IT, IMMA MARRY ANN."

I got married in Year 7. xD

I REMEMBERED SOMETHING ELSE.

xD It's not even so much beginner as it was stupid.

My Ostrich finally grew up yesterday, but I had no damn idea how to mount it. So I kept pressing the talk button for like... 3 hours game time every day for a week before I finally remembered "Oh yeah, I need one of them saddle things..."

Oh, yeah, coolcat's mistakes remind me of some more..

- I didn't figure out where Muffy's diary was until I looked up "cheats" online.
- I thought that when my cow got dirty, she was just old. I didn't know you had to wash her. xD

* Also guilty of littering....that was more than an annoyance...

Harvest Moon 2 for the Game Boy Color.
I didn't know how to get my tools from the table-thing.
I spent 2 1/2 years waking up, wandering a bit or going to festivals, then going back to bed.
Then I realized...
Table = Tools.
Sun ova beach.

oh the memories...

Lets see, for AWL, I didnt know how to set up shop it town. I thought the books in your house were typoed or something, so I gave up on it. Years later (our time) I was talking to Van and noticed that when I moved a bit there was a change in command on my green button, pressing it, it was like, "Hey Vans here, I shouldn't set up shop just yet." I remember being like '0.0'

Another time, I was standing in front of the bed after I married Cliff and accidentaly pressed A and totally freaked out when he got up and started to talk to me. Dumb now, but it mortified me at the time.

In AnWL, I tried doing the Spice glitch... *cough*

Lolz my neice had StH and could never win the game. One time, she finaly got the golden milk and was so happy...on her way to give it to whats-their-name...she dropped it. XD

Well, when I first got TOT, it took me until Fall of year 1 to figure out how to open the main menu. And it was the most annoying thing ever, because I was beginning to think that there WASN'T a menu to check your animals' heart levels and stuff. So I spend a majority of that year going to the town hall every day to check peoples' heart levels ; w;

I probably have many more stories, but I can't even remember what my first day playing BTN was like now D:

I had more of a house beginner mistake when it came to changing the model of my house xD I always like getting some of the most expensive stuff so I changed my house model to gorgeous(which looked awesome outside.) but when I went inside it looked like a complete doll house with purple carpets..and...walls x_X.....ugh... I changed it to country which is awesome but ugh I need to look at the name and learn better. >_>

My most recent (and really only one I remember) one from ToT...

buying a nice new bag of eggplant seeds, targeting to make sure I'm planting in the right row, apparently hitting the joystick ever so slightly, and throwing all my seeds diagonally into my garden...


*facepalm*

My first hm game was save the Homeland I was like six or something...

anyways sth mistakes/stupid things I did

- I put my chickens inside the house cause I thought they would be cold inside the coop
- I was afraid to go into my house at night cause I thought my chicken's ghost would pop out of nowhere (I played zelda too much back then)
- got stuck inside houses for hours
- called my animals the stupidest names (I named my dog fjsio)

Now I don't make that many now that I am older...
