Grr. My tree didn't grow.

So I go and blow all of my 400,000G [too lazy to get material] on a basement to grow trees.

1. They're not growing.
2. I just read somewhere on here that trees don't grow in basements?

Whatthefudge? ;_;

Is it true? Did I really just waste THAT much money for nothing? :|

I tried it in the beginning when I first started playing, my trees only grew to green leaf stage, no flowers, and never any fruit, so I'm assuming they won't grow in basements...It would be great if they could!

But don't worry, you haven't wasted your money. Get one of those sun things from the mines, then grow sweet potatoes or pineapples, that would be good.

You could do that, but one question does it cost only 400,000G to make a stone barn, or did you use wood?

The trees don't want to grow for you. /shot But as said before, you cannot plant trees in your basement. Well, actually you can; but they won't flower and produce fruit unlike your Peach tree you get at the start of your game.

I've planted over six trees on my farm. Most of them are beginning to flower; I just hibernate through the seasons till they have fruit ready for me.

But you can grow crops there. Gotz should of given you a Seasonal Sun when he finished your basement. You put those on the little boxes in your basement. There are four Seasonal Suns; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The Spring Sun allows you to grow Spring crops and so on. Since nothing can grow in Winter, the Winter Sun is no use. You can ship it or give it as a gift or keep it on your shelf. Seasonal Suns can be found on the Third Mine.

What I do is plant them on the land near Nina's. Sure you loose a few days but it takes so long so it doesn't really matter to me

I also tried to make three basements thinking that the third one would have a summer sun thingy but just had a fall one..

Ya, trees don't grow in the basement because in the spring, that's when they flower, and there's no tree that gives fruit in the spring. So if they flower in the spring then they fruit in the summer or fall, the second you take out the spring sun, the flowers die and you wo'nt get fruit.
