OHMYGOSH! So true. I'm sick of trying to ask the HG to raise my Farm Degree with collecting all 9 wonderful stones. I so wish it was easier to reach the highest level. >.> Maybe some more things to unlock after Farm Queen.
And for DS, to be able to count each item in the stack, instead of the whole stack as one.

All for boy version of Harvest moon DS:
• More festivals
• Free to go to town - without any trouble.
• More than one child
• Customisable clothes
• Wallpaper and house decorations (for boy version)
• Faster ways to get sprites
• Allow us to actually use the circus (would be fun!)
• More animals. (Pigs, goats ect.)
• WIFI - I wanna see peoples farms like in Animal Crossing DS
• Easier ways to win comps.
• Faster ways to make chickens and animals get 10 hearts.
Yeah just a few.

make the Circus there for a better purpose (meaning if you befriend barney and Mimi you can actually see shows)

Probably add more realistic thing that arent stupid like maybe the townfolks acually wishing you a happy birthday when you talk to them or haveing them say more than one thing for there entire life...

I agree with the above, the villagers should wish you stuff like happy birthday or happy anniversary.
I also would like to include to the list I made ages ago, a working calendar. It should automatically record birthdays or anniversaries (rivals) as you discover them. That would be very handy to have.

It wouldn't hurt if you could actually sell the food you cook too.
It's a nice thing in ToT. XD I tried shipping food in DS Cute and was like.. let down.
Especially since I went on a random spree of making really random foods that nobody would want. XD Bah.
