What would you change? RF2

In RF2, there were a few things I didn't like and would like to change. So in no particular order....

1. All the kids go to school at the same time. (From 9-3) Dunno why, it just erked me to see only half the class at school at a time.
2. Alicia and Mana have rivals (new characters) and Yue marries the rival who would be other wise not be married.
3. More kids; Kyle x Mother have Aria and Aaron you just have to choose which one to play as and the new pairings (Alicia x ? Mana x ?) have kids.
4. Rivals in 2nd gen.
5. More festivals (Cooking, Vegetable, Egg, Milk, Wool, Circus?)
6. Few more characters, i.e. farmhand, clown, a barmaid, bartender, Chef, Waitress, etc. Also more buildings/businesses (Bar, Restruant and a Circus Tent with a fair held there once a season.
7. Playground at school, more upgrades for it (Cafeteria, etc) and new uses for the library (English class, Book Club?)
8. Change the way your mother acts, treats you in the 2nd generation. (For example, If you marry Dorothy, she completely changes her schedule and doesn't even become a nurse like she says she would.

Also you can suggest new characters.

Definitely the Aria and Aaron part... I mean, couldn't they be twins, and you can just choose who you want to play as?

And also how your mother rarely acknowledges you, or like how she can only acknowledge you as her son/daughter in the house...^^;

And how Kyle doesn't have FP and LP on the second generation...^^;

I also would try changing the "7 year old harem" part <XP I mean, well, it kinda messes up the storyline^^; Well, that's just my opinion~ I also wan't to at least see the one you fake married to acknowledge you as his/her boyfriend/girlfriend....^^;

But yeah, I don't have enough special magic vampire witch fairy powers to change those^^; Haha, just kiddin^^

5. Divorce or polygamy. (xD)...(We ALL know the reason for this, so don't think badly of me)

You can play as the girl version :0 In the 2nd gen where you choose your baby gender. If you choose girl, then you will play as a girl in the 2nd gen.

I'm down for those, 'specially the polygamy part. xD That way, I can have both Barrett and Dorothy! Kyahahaha~

Not to mention, change the rival system a little bit so that they don't become zombie-recluses once they're hitched. Dx And make them and the people related to them talk about their marriages.

I agree with most of the ideas here and these are mine :
1- Older Aria and Aaron (even by a little would've been great)
2- More girlfriend/boyfriend candidates
3- At least one more dungeon
4- Different styles of clothes and not only recolors

I so agree, if they added more of any of those, it'd probably be the ultimate RF game so far. Problaby also add in a like, more elves and say that cool wizard from RFF(?) and I'd be set. And maybe less lag in the barn (those evil buffamoo). And have like normal pets maybe? Like they did in other HM games? I liked those pet contests D:

I would definitely change how your mom acts towards you in second gen. I really think you should reap the benefits you can get in first gen, it's very weird to pay my mother (alicia) every day to find out what the weather is going to be. I also would have liked Aaron/Aria to be a bit older-the whole 7 years old thing is weird.

Pretty much I'd do what everyone already said. I'd also change:

- A little more things to do in 1st gen for those of us going for all the quests
- Secret challenge bosses/quests for after you clear the game. Things that are challenging for people who want to be the "ultimate" RF2 player. <-- I haven't cleared it yet so IDK if this is in the game, but I really doubt it.
- Better English VAs 9_9;
- More than 5 character limit on names (though it's understandable with the number of monsters)
- Change the wedding so you don't have to wait for each person to walk up slowly and say pretty much the same thing as the last person...
- Selectable AI routines for accompanying monsters (explore and seek monsters, stay close to you, target only monsters, target only monster generator things, stay back and heal, etc)
- Mothers do more things for their child than stand around in the house sometimes (cook dinners, buy new clothes, have lots more dialogues, specific things for each girl: Dorothy can heal status changes, Mana can give you discounts in the shop a couple times a month, Alicia gives you free readings (it's not like they're that expensive anyway, so it would make it more real), Rosalind could um... give you money or something?? LOL IDK I'm not good with making up the ideas, but they should do SOMETHING cool like that)
- Characters do more than stand around. Events like in HM games when you walk in at a certain time and run into something already going on. It's nice that there's so many different things they can say in this one, though. Much better than RF1.
- Eating contest at least should show a picture of a table or even food floating in mid air while you "eat" X_X;
- People actually swim rather than talking about swimming...?
- Douglas really should wear swim trunks on Summer 1 ♥
- And Natalie should wear her swimsuit XD
- And all the girls should XD It's no fair that mana TALKS about a bikini but we don't get to see it XDD
- And guys too XD Of course, shy characters or ones who don't care wouldn't do it (Jake, Barrett, Dorothy, etc)
- More elaborate scenes for proposal. They were nice already, but I think they should be longer and have more quests involved, and have more voice acting. The scene for after marriage would be cool if it were longer, too.
- No items you can only get through trading :\
- Ability to watch 1st Gen opening movie after getting to 2nd gen (if you can do this IDK how XD)
- More things to spend money on, money harder to get, things more expensive
- Rune ball things only restore 25% of RP instead of 50%
- Marry Douglas and Byorn 9_9;
- Way to level up camping skill easily... it's like the only thing I won't get to 99 T_T
- Way to level up logging, too (srsly there are like no stumps and stuff after you plant in all the fields X_X and swinging the axe doesn't give you that much...)


Well, I'm sure I have more than that XD While I'd change a lot of things, I still think the game is really awesome anyway XD

Oh yeah...

I really don't like the dungeon system too much here... In all the dungeons, all the monster levels are around the same. Makes leveling up pretty slow... :/ I liked it better in RF1 where as you grow stronger, the stronger the monsters you face in each new dungeons.

Oh, and... I want conversations between Barrett & Dorothy like Ray & Rosalind and Max & Julia have. Ehah...
