Yay! I finally got the 3rd Mine finished. (: It took me like an hour and a half cause I was looking for the Cursed stuff.

Anyways, how long did it take you to complete any of the mines?

PS Watching the people walk at super-speed was so funny. I got the Time Ring and it made me laugh so hard d:

Wow! well done! I havent even attempted mine 3 yet! lol - just the first roo for the ore for makers lol

it took me about an hour to do mine 2 but i realised when i finally got to the bottom that my hammer wasnt good enough to break the stone! :S

I get so frustrated in the mines! Wish i could just get all the goodies at once and not have to go down all the floors! lol

Hm... I can't remember how much time it took me to get down to the 3rd mine. Possibly more than an hour if totaled all together. Probably not two, but who knows; I don't keep track of time. >XD

If I remember correctly, I did my cursed tool trip the same as my "all the way to the bottom" trip, but I have poor memory skills. >XDD

You have my respect. I have no patience at all to understand the mines in basically any HM game. xD
The best I do is go to level 10 in the first mine and feel rather smug about myself. u__u; Sad, I know.

I think once I finally get married (aka unlock the last two or three darn sprites I need) I will focus on mining. Like I said, it's the only thing I never really found interesting or fun in any HM game. So I might as well try it and try to be successful while I'm at it. XD

^ I might have mined after my marriage... if Cliff didn't take so long to woo. -_- But, then again, that's not like me to mine after marriage; I like to reap the benefits from the mines before marriage, as gifts for the other people. >XD

Not only that... blessed/mythic tools (I only have blessed now) really help a load. :D

Wow. Congratulations. ^^ Personaly, I have a great deal of respect for anyone who can make it to the bottom of the 3rd mine. I am and epic failure at that. Not because of fainting, but because it gets so boring just mining over and over and over and over... I hate it DX

i think you've inspired me! lol. I feel like i should attempt the second mine and get that darned sword!

But yeah - well done on actually doing it! I lack any motivation to go and actually finish them - feel so bored in the mines. And i just HATE the crazy zombie animals! So scary! :O

It only took me about 45 minutes to reach the bottom of the 2nd mine... I didn't mine... I just Fell. A Lot... And I had a lot of luck, I only ran into 3 or so floors that I had to root around for the stairs for.

I've not tried the 3rd yet... I started over, and I only have one blessed tool and one cursed tool. I forgot how expensive it was...

By the time I did it in my first game, I had 10 fishing sprites at like, full experience and was making 20k a day off them alone...

I need to hire the fishing team - i know fishing gets easier the more you do it so that you can upgrade the rod - but i just get so bored! I never catch anything at all! lol :'(

^ You could just use your rod inside your house; you get experience just for using the rod, not exactly catching anything. That way, if you use this tactic, you won't have to waste any working time. :D

Or you could use your tool necklace with the fishing rod to fish in the morning or night, not only not using up any time, but also increasing your chances to catch fish. :D

That's a good idea! I had neve actually considered that for anything other than my milker! lol

I've tried using the necklace to use tools outside, and....i suck at it!lol. Just like i know i have the milker glitch because randomly after i brush my animals, then i go to milk the cows - i get high level small milks, but everytime i try to make the glitch work --- zilch! lol

But just using it on air is good! Just have to stock up on Turbojolts! lol

^ Just using tools in the air like that is how I get mystril, all 6 tools by autumn at least.

The Axe and Hammer usually get upped to mystril actually hammering rocks and chopping sticks... But the syckle and the fishing rod... =/ not so much.

i hate mining. mining in ToT is actually tolerable, but only because you can get pretty jewels.

mining in DS is pretty rough. i kept getting frustrated with it in the fourth mine so I would save and then come back to it days later-

and heads up, definitely use both files. some floors in the fourth mine don't have a hole or stairs so you're stuck. (that's another good thing about ToT, you don't have to go all the way back to the surface like in DS, you have the option of going up just one floor.)

I've tried beating the 3rd mine, but I passed out even tho I had like, 60 of those things that restore a lot of stamina, I just can't manage to do it. You are a very lucky person.
