Golden Lumber
If you ever receive a chunk of Golden Lumber from the Thomas' Winter Request event, be careful not to put it outside in your farm yard! The Mineral Town residents aren't happy with a farmer that likes to show off her wealth. Each morning they'll come by and scold you. Even the Gourmet Man and the Harvest Goddess will show up and give you a hard time. If that's not enough, all day they will call you a rich rascal instead of using your name! Until you remove the Golden Lumber out of your field, they will come every day and yell at you.
You can just store the Golden Lumber in your bookshelf, or you can sell it to Won. The glittering piece of wood can fetch you up to 57000 G! You don't earn any Event points and all of the negative attention doesn't even affect your Villager points.
