Spring Festivals

There are 10 days to celebrate in Spring:

Flower Festival - Spring 08 to Spring 12

Flower Festival

The goal of the Flower Festival is for you to give as many flowers as you can within the 4 day timespan. The festival begins at 12:00 pm on the 8th and ends at 12:00 pm on the 12th. To be declared the winnter of the festival, you need to give 50 or more flowers.

Since you can only give 1 gift per day, your gifting will need to span over most of the festival time. There are 22 villagers available, minus Amir, Emiko, and your child, so if you give a flower to each person every day, you won't have any problem being crowned the festival winner.

The problem you may have is finding so many flowers to give! Flowers include Moondrop, Toy Flower, Pink Cat Flower, Magic Blue Flower, and Magic Red Flower. You cannot use Chamomile, Mint, and Lavender, since those are herbs and not flowers.

It is tough to find that many wild flowers in your first 8 days of the game, but if you can't, plan for the next year's festival by collecting flowers before the end of the year and then put them in your Storehouse. The next time the Flower Festival comes around, and you've planned for it, you should have enough flowers to give to each person as long as your storage is upgraded enough to retain the flowers' freshness.

When you start the Festival on the 8th, you will earn an extra 500 FP with all of the villagers who are at the festival. During the 4 days, you'll earn you the normal amount of FP for giving the flowers; if a person only "likes" a flower then you'll earn the standard +100 FP. At the end of the festival, if you are crowned the festival winner, you will earn a bonus +1000 FP with the participating villagers. Even if you're not the grand champion of flower giving, you will still get +500 FP.

Spring Thanksgiving - Spring 14

This festival will vary depending on what gender you're playing as:

If you are a boy...

During this day, you want to give Chocolate Cake, Chocolate Cookies, or a Choco. Party Cake to the bachelorettes. You will earn +1000 FP for each girl you give a chocolate treat to.

You can make the 3 types of gifts yourself, or you can buy them if the opportunity presents itself:

For your first year, your best chance is buying Chocolate Cookies from Merine at the bazaar, if they show up in her inventory.

If you are a girl...

On this day, you'll receive gifts from the bachelors. At different times of the day, enter your farm house to have a visitor follow you inside. Depending on your affection with the person, you will get different gifts. You will get Cookies if you have a black, purple, or blue heart color, Chocolate Cookies at a green or yellow heart color, and Chocolate Cake at an orange or red heart color. The person will also earn +500 FP for giving you a gift.

If you are a girl and married...

When you awake in the morning, your husband will give you a present. If he has less than a red heart color (less than 60,000 FP) then you will be given Chocolate Cake. If he has a red heart color (60,000 FP or more) then you will get a Choco. Party Cake instead. You will also earn +1000 FP with your spouse.

Tea Party - Spring 30

In your first year, Felix will stop by your house on the 27th. He will give you a Spring Tea Leaves because he wants you to participate in the festival, but you most likely won't have any tea leaves yet.

Tea Festival

On the 30th, meet with the rest of the villagers at the Plaza and give your entry to the Tea Festival to Felix after 12:00 pm. Everyone will gather together and drink the tea made from your ingredients. You will be rewarded by Marian with an item based on the Rank of the item you submit:

It doesn't matter what kind of tea item that you submit because the outcome will be the same. Giving unprocessed tea leaves will be the same as giving Felix leaves that have been processed into a box of tea or brewed tea. The rank of the tea ingredient you give is the important thing.

You will earn +500 FP with each person when you start the festival.
