Good Life and RF5 Release Dates, SoS Sale in EU, Rice is Ready, and FREE PoOOOOT | Posted at 02:46 PM 24 September 2021

Happy Farm'n Friday! Last weekend's rain deluge knocked down the dahlias and zinnias, breaking stems and scattering petals onto the ground. Oof! Some spare tomato supports got the zinnias upright again, but some dahlias bend beyond correction. That's okay since the fall season is upon us, and it's almost time for them to be dug up for their wintertime nap anyway.

Good Life Ready to Launch

A project four years in the making, Swery finally announced this week that his mystery game set in the English countryside, The Good Life, will finally be released on October 15. The game will be published on all announced platforms on this day: Steam, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch, and XBox One.

Swery's above video explains the premise of The Good Life, which takes the protagonist Naomi from New York to the sheep farming community of Rainy Woods. She discovers a strange furmiliar mystery and a murder (daa duu duuuuummm), all the while trying to earn money to pay off her debt.

Besides the primary photography aspect, players can decorate Naomi's homes and her clothing outfit. They can grow crops in the garden, which can then be cooked in the kitchen. They can also take part-time jobs at the sheep ranch and participate in sheep-riding races. The better care the sheep get, the faster they'll run in the obstacle course!

Now it's finally time for the rice harvest! Starting on Monday the 27, 39 first- and second-year students will hand-cut the mature rice and place the harvested grain onto racks to dry in the sun. The college expects the harvest to take 5 hours to complete; if it rains on Monday, they will postpone the harvest until Tuesday.
