Daryl's Seed Maker

Daryl is aggravated, pacing back and forth and talking to himself. How did this happen? His research has been hidden from prying eyes; how did they get this information?

You startle Daryl when entering his lab, and he scolds you. Daryl thought you could have been a spy, here to steal his secrets! Daryl explains that he's learned that there are copycats in the city selling the Seed Maker he invented. Daryl believes that somebody stole his idea. Daryl ponders how he can show the world that his Seed Maker is the better product when he realizes he can give it to you! If you use the "real" Seed Maker, that will show the world how much better it is compared to the city-built versions.

The Seed Maker will be installed next to your storage warehouse. Adding crops into the machine will convert them into 2 bags of seeds of the same quality rank as the original crop. Typically the seed maker costs 30,000 G and becomes available to order in the farm ledger after you've earned 100,000 G and then talk to Takakura. So this event will save you some money.

Daryl really likes fish. Give him two fish a day, and you'll soon have enough friendship to trigger this event.
