Gustafa and Nami's Rival Events
To trigger a rival event, you cannot have seen the event participants' 8-Heart Event or have given the marriage candidate a Blue Feather to propose marriage.
Rival Event 1
- Exit your farm from the south entrance
- 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Sunny weather
- Summer, Autumn, or Winter season
- Gustafa is outside
- You have not seen Gustafa's or Nami's 8-heart event
- You are not engaged to Gustafa or Nami
Gustafa gives a friendly greeting to Nami. She doesn't respond much, so he continues by telling her that the the riverside is a nice place to hang out. Still nothing. Gustafa wonders if something is wrong. Nami replies that there's nothing wrong; can he get to the point? Gustafa asks if perhaps something is wrong. Nami tells him it's nothing; that's when Gustafa notices her cheeks are red. He's worried she may have a fever.
Nami snaps at him, insisting that nothing is going on. Neither of them says much until Nami breaks the silence and tells him she's returning to the inn. Before she gets far, Gustafa stops Nami and gives her an apple.
Rival Event 2
- Exit the Lei-Over Inn
- 3:00 pm to midnight
- Sunny weather
- Autumn or Winter season
- Nami is not inside the inn
- You have seen Rival Event 1
- You have not seen Gustafa's or Nami's 8-heart event
- You are not engaged to Gustafa or Nami
Nami is listening to Gustafa play his guitar from behind a tree, though Gustafa doesn't know she's there. When she notices you, Nami explains that Gustafa's soothing melodies make her feel like she's home. She wonders if it is because Gustafa is the person playing the music. Nami then walks away, while Gustafa continues to play his guitar, unaware that he had an audience.
Rival Event 3
- Exit the Lei-Over Inn
- 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Rainy weather (snow doesn't count; it can rain during winter)
- Winter season (Some player have trigger this in Autumn)
- Nami is not inside the inn
- You have seen Rival Event 2
- You have not seen Gustafa's or Nami's 8-heart event
- You are not engaged to Gustafa or Nami
Gustafa and Nami are taking shelter from the rain under the inn's balcony. Nami isn't a fan of rain because it makes her feel gloomy. Gustafa has a more positive perspective. As he moves to stand out in the rain, Gustafa explains that water is important to people. The blessings that rain brings allow everyone to live well. When he thinks about rain in this way, it's not something he wants to dismiss.
Nami walks out into the rain with Gustafa. What he says makes sense! The two of them continue on their wet walk.
