Part two of ‘I don’t yet know what to call this’
Still by SoulSpeaker Ngetal ( mirutanku@pokebonanza.zzn.com) When the last story finished, our heroes were plotting against evil fish. “Die fish scum!” yelled Yomi, appearing out of Pandora’s Box. He headbutted he real fish a coupe of times. Nothing happened. After a while he became bored and began a staring contest with a wall. Raina and Luna ignored him and began belting the fish with their weapons. Ark then walked over and shoved his SilverPike down its throat, destroying it and sending blood billowing through the water. Once the swirling red clouds faded away, the fish had disappeared, as had the boulder previously blocking their retreat. On a quick look, there were no hidden passages or trapdoors, so the group retraced their steps back to the room they’d dived into first. It was now full of mermaids. Dharfi, once over her initial fear, tried not to become unsettled by them. “S’cuse me,” a mermaid pardoned. “My name’s Nana, my fiancé Servus is ment to meet me at the Great Lakes. May I ask a favour of you?” (gee I wonder) “Yes? Well, I want you to go over to the Great Lakes, where we first met, and give him this, my engagement ring, and tell him our ship sank. Thankyou kind people,” So Raina, Dharfi, Luna, Ark and Yomi (he lost the staring contest) left the Mermaid Tower, bonus an engagement ring. By some strange coincidence, the ship that had taken them out to the Tower had just arrived to return them to Liotto. “As promised you get to keep the boat,” the captain informed them. “And I believe this is your stop. Thanks for gettin’ rid of the fiends,” “Those were some damned awful fiends,” muttered Dharfi grimly, as they walked off down the pier. It was the first time any of them had been to Liotto. The first thing they noticed was the bunch of morons at every corner. Probably nightclubbers. “Let’s get some food,” suggested Luna lightly. “You go ahead,” offered Ark, “I’ll just wait here,” Luna, Raina and Dharfi wandered off in search of food, that is, after Dharfi was done paying out Ark for being a slacker. After they’d left, who should come sauntering around the corner but that arrogant bitch who everybody with a life, hates, Alex-Sasha! Okay, it was really MeiLin, but Alex-Sasha should die too. Ark tried to look as small and inconspicuous as humanely possible, but MeiLin still noticed him and began heading towards him. “How dare you leave without me!” she scolded angrilly. “You’re not getting away from me this time!” Luckilly for Ark, before MeiLin really started talking (god forbid), Dharfi and Raina came ‘round the corner, they’d left Luna to look for food herself, considering their attention span. “Aaaah! Bitch!” screamed Dharfi. “Kill it! Kill it Kill it!” Raina said something along those lines but much ruder, and if I where to print it here, the real Alex-Sasha would go psycho and attempt (Attempt, ATTEMPT), to kill me brutally, because me ‘an my friend like to write heaps mean (and true) crap ‘bout it. MeiLin turned around and saw them. “No! How can you be here?!” she cried in disbelief. “We walked,” explained Dharfi snootily, “actually, we flew, but what the heck,” MeiLin mentioned something about a love shrine on the mountain up North to Ark (WooHoo) hinted at him to come. Really, she basically told him she was horny for him, and then pissed off. “ I pity you,” said Luna, coming up behind Ark and patting his shoulder reassuringly. Seeing nothing else for it, the gang booked a few rooms in the hotel and fell asleep… Sharifa saw nothing, heard nothing. How much time has passed? Time to awaken! The first thing she noticed in the dank and dismal dungeon that she found herself in, was the fact that she had no idea where Tifa was. “Tifa I call on you!” she ordered. After a few moments she realised Tifa wasn’t coming out. She tried again. “Carna the IceRaptor, I call upon you now!” Still, nothing happened. Re-tried. “Tifa come out now you lazy cat!” A voice called out from the depths of the cave. “Shut-up, moron! We’re not getting out of here in a hurry, and all that shouting isn’t about to do very much, except for piss off those damned starfish, and wake up Anita!” Sharifa whirled around and found herself face to face with someone about as tall as she was. She glared at him. “For your big fat information, I am calling upon my creatures so they may help us out of this hole,” she snarled angrily. “What the hell are you talking about?!” the stranger answered sharply. “No, even better, don’t say so. Just shut-up and I’ll tell you what’s going on, since you don’t seem to understand that, or anything else, yourself,” Sharifa was about ready to snap his backbone in half, rip off his head, and roll it down the length of the cave she was now so pissed and confused. Yet she let this stranger tell her what was going on, just to satisfy her curiosity. “...and basically, because of those stupid starfish, we’re stuck here until somebody goes and kills ‘em,” he explained. “Tell me where in hell’s name they are then, so that I may go and do to them what I was about to do to you,” Sharifa snapped. “Don’t be so thick,” he replied smoothly, “the only reason we’re alive is because some serpenty-thing came and dragged us over here, out of the way of the starfish. We can’t get out of here until they’re destroyed,” Sharifa turned away to the wall and sulked grumpily. ‘That ass-hole, if only he’d let her attempt to release her creatures, they’d be able to get them out of this mess easily,’ she thought in her rage. But nooo, it was all, ‘ohh no, you can’t do that, you’ll wake up Anita, uhh, don’t do that you’ll wake up Anita,’ Sharifa didn’t even know who Anita was. Well, at least her friends knew where she was. Hopefully it wouldn’t be much longer ‘til they arrived. Hopefully... “God damn,” cursed Ark as he got up in the middle of the night to go up that stupid lovers’ hill. He stood there before some statue of some important person and hoped that MeiLin wouldn’t show up. Somebody came out from behind the statue. It was… it was… no, it couldn’t be! Elle? |
