New Adventures of Ark(prologue) by: Thisuck

         After Ark had dreamt his "last dream", he woke up to find Elle by his side. "Are you ok Ark? You seem to have had a nightmare." Ark instinctivly looked at his hand and patted himself to see if he was still existed. "Yeah I am fine....", "Ok if you say you are, I better get some sleep its a big day tommorrw.", "Why, what happens tommorrow?", Ark asked. "Why don't you remeber silly its our wedding day!". Ark then fainted. "ARK! ARK! Are you alright?.....Ark!!". As Elle's voice trailed off Ark wondered whats going on.

         The next day...... "Is awake yet?", "No, not yet....". "Its just like him to sleep through his wedding day."*sigh* "Don't say that mother", replied Elle. "Look his eyes are opening!" exclaimed Elle. "Hi Elle I had the weirdest dream, we were going to be married today.", "Well.... um...Ark we ARE getting married today."replied Elle nerviously. "Get your butt off the bed Ark! NOW!!", shouted Elle's mom. "Don't yell at him mother", "Why not he doesn't even remeber his wedding day, and he is the one who proposed to you!!". "Um... What exactly happened", asked Ark. Both Elle and her mother's face suddenly turned a shade of red which Dark Gaia would have feared as they pulled him out of bed. "You are getting married to my daughter today and thats final!!",

         The reciption for the wedding was beautiful to say the least, all the men wore black and some white tuxes, the women wore white laced dresses. The tables was also covered with white lace. There were many pots of flowers on top of tables, their fragrances were a pleasent aroma that filled the air. "Come here you little....", said Elle's mother as she "dragged" Ark on to the groom side of the podium. "Stand here Ark. Oh and if I catch you an INCH out of place you will wish you had never meet Elle or me!!!", shouted Elle's mother. *Gulp*"Ok....", Ark replied nerviously. As everyone waited for Elle, Ark looked around and was amazed to see that everyone in the village was present. As they waited Ark began to wonder:"What happened? Don't I supposed to disappear? Didn't I kill Dark Gaia?". The start of the bride's march (music) snapped Ark out of his thoughts. As he looked up at Elle his jaw nearly dropped to the ground, for she was the most beautiful woman/girl(I am not sure how old Elle is) he had ever seen. As Elle's father escorted her to the podium, everyone looked in awe as Elle walked down the walkway. After Elle's father had handed her to Ark he sat down and wispered to Elle's mother" I hope I don't live to regret this day...", "Me neither.", replied Elle's mother.

         ".... Do you Ark promise to hold and love Elle Until death due you apart?", asked the Elder. "Yes.", ".... and do you Elle promise to hold and love Ark until death due you apart?". "Yes.". "And if no one here objects to this.... ", "I now declare you man and bride, you may kiss the bride...". Everyone waited. "I said 'You may kiss the bride', (What are you waiting for Ark!!-Elder)". "Kiss her damn it Ark or I'll have your head", screamed Elle's mother. Finially Ark kissed Elle and everyone sighed a breath of relief(mostly they feared Elle's mother).

         "Thank you.", Ark and Elle replied as another person wished them luck on their marriage. "What happened?", Elle wispered to Ark. "Why didn't you kiss me right away?", "Well.... its just I have never kissed you before Elle, I guess thats what happened.", replied Ark. "Hmmmm.......... I don't buy it", wispered Elle. "I hope I didn't make a mistake this day", said Elle's mother as she walked toward the couple. "We'll finish this later Ark.", wispered Elle. "Hi mom.". "Cause if I did, you would be sooo sorry Ark that you ever crossed my daughter!", shouted Elle's mother. "Now go and dance with her.", commanded Elle's mother. "I am sorry Ark.", Elle apolizied. "For what?". "For my mother.", "No need, she just want to protect her daughter, its understandable.", Ark replied as they danced together. "What a nice couple", commented by someone in the crowd of people at the party.

         "Thank you for coming.", thanked Elle as the last person left Ark's new house. The village had build a new house for Ark and Elle since Ark's existing room was not big enough for the new couple. Ark's new house isn't as big as you would think, its about the size of Elle and Ark's room combined. There wasn't much furnishings in the house yet, a few chairs, a queen sized bed, one measly table, and a small kitchen. "Turn on the lights would you Ark, its really dark now(Don't ask me about the lights or electricity)." Ark turns the lights on. "That better, thanks", thanked Elle. "Oh Ark, about today's kiss.... I thought about it and it was ok if you didn't kissed me right away. I was very nervious too, so it was fine." "Look at the time(9:00 PM) its really late. We should be getting to bed......", said Elle. "Your right, I will sleep on the ground, since I seem to end up there every morning there anyway." replied Ark. "Why Ark? We are married and the ground is so uncomfortable, besides its the first night that we are married so come to bed." blushed Elle. "OK!" Ark exclaimed as he jumped into bed with Elle. I will leave all the details out now(figure it out yourself ;) and magicly transport you to the next day.

         *Knock! Knock! Knock!*, "Who is it?", yelled Elle as she ran to the door. As Elle opened the door...
