Tool Blueprints
At the beginning of the game, Dunhill will give you a Sickle, Watering Can, and Hoe so that you can tend to your crops. You can also buy the basic tools at Hana's General Store. The Hammer and Axe will become available at Hana's store after Iroha unlocks on Spring 15. You can't upgrade your tools until after you go through Rebecca's construction studio tutorial on Spring 25. Iroha will have blueprints to upgrade your tools if you give her gifts to raise her friendship, but she will only give you the upgrade blueprints after you finish Rebecca's tutorial; basically, if you haven't unlocked the workshop studio, then you can't upgrade your tools yet. After that, you can also make the basic tools at your studio.
You will also get a free Milker from Neil on Spring 9, when he offers a free cow for your farm, yet the sheep Clippers are not given to you when you buy your first sheep. Sheep become available at Neil's shop once you reach Fall of year 1 or after you've unlocked Yuri. After you buy the sheep, check Rebecca's shop for the blueprint and then construct the Clippers using your studio.
