Gulliver's General Store
Cortez runs the general store in the lower level of Westown. He sells tools, seeds, cloth, and herbs. The tools he sells are always at level 1 strength, so you'll want to take them to Ludus for upgrading.
This merchant can also create fishing bait for 10 G each from the fish you bring him:
- Bait (increases bite rate): 2 crab and 2 shrimp
- Refined Bait (increases bite rate even more): 2 crab and 2 shrimp
- King Bait (gives boost to fish size): 1 shellfish, 1 small fish, and 2 medium fish
- Magic Bait (gives boost to fish star rank): 1 crab, 1 shrimp, and 2 medium fish
He'll be able to craft normal Bait from the start of the game. Refined and King Bait unlock after you have caught 60 fish, and Magic Bait unlocks after you catch 90 fish. Alternatively, you can save your fish and buy fish bait at the Polepole shop in South Lulukoko.
