The website is not officially affiliated, sponsored, endorsed, or employed by the developers of Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, or River King. This is simply a fan site.

This week Natsume released the sixth Developer Diary for
Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories. The game was released on the iOS platform last Thursday, with the Android, PC, and WiiU version release dates to be announced later. This diary featured a day in the life of the girl main character. She does her farming chores, heads to town, talks to Tabitha to get her gift advice, and then goes mining. When mining, you can use an upgraded Hoe to cover more space while digging for the staircase down to the next level, whereas in past version players had to dig the ground one square at a time regardless of their tool level. After a quick jump into the hot spring, she spends the evening with Gareth watching the summer fireworks show.
You can watch the promo video of her day on the Natsume Facebook site:
In Japan, Marvelous has announced a game and guidebook package for
Bokujou Monogatari: Tsunagaru Shin Tenshi (EN: Story of Seasons) and Rune Factory 4. Although packing a companion guide book with a game might indicate that the game itself might be a little
too complex ;) but it'll probably be appreciated by new Japanese players who buy either game.
Also, Marvelous has released some additional information to the Japanese gaming media about its latest version of
Bokujou Monogatari,
Precious Friends of the Three Hometowns. Most of the information was already included in the initial announcement for the game in last week's Weekly Famitsu magazine (which was covered on last week's Farm'n Friday), but there was some clearer screenshots released that were in last week's print copy. You can find some clean, non-watermarked images on the GAME Watch website:
Marvelous also launched the official website for the game with an announcement from the official
Bokumono Twitter account. There isn't much on the
Precious Friends site yet, but Marvelous is promoting the 20th anniversary of the series by offering a questionnaire for fans to submit. The survey asks participants to select the first
Bokumono game they played as well as submit a short message about the series such as their favorite animal, any happy memories about playing the games, or any comment that might encourage the development staff. Survey participants will be rewarded with images of the
Precious Friends main characters that can be used as a Twitter profile image, message board avatar, and so on.
More information about the game will be in the March editions of Dengeki Magazine and Nintendo DREAM.
Speaking of which, here is the 4-col comic from the January edition of Nintendo DREAM!
