New PF Bachelor and Bachelorette | Posted at 03:41 PM 12 February 2016
Since it is almost Valentine's day, keep a watchful eye on Natsume's Facebook page for some tantalizing tidbits regarding the marriage candidates from Harvest Moon: Seeds of Memories. Will DOC be included AND become a bachelor?! HUBBA HUBBA :O (Yea, probably not though. I don't think Mr.Fogu has anything to worry about...) While North America is getting Return to PopoloCrois: A Story of Seasons Fairytale on March 1st, Europe and Australia are getting it next week on February 18th. Marvelous Europe is releasing the game as a digital-only title on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, with the supported languages being English and the dual-track Japanese that is included in the North American version. In Japan, the latest edition of Famitsu Weekly magazine revealed more information about Story of Seasons: Precious Friends of the 3 Hometowns (roughly translated, of course). The article introduced several new characters from Westown, two marriage candidates, and some fancy features. First off, there were three more villagers introduced from Westown: The Famitsu article also introduced two new marriage candidates. These two live in the Asian-inspired village of Tsuyukusa: Currently, the game has two marriage candidates per gender: Lishette and Kasumi for the boy protagonist, and Wayne and Yuzuki for the girl protagonist. Now we await for the Lulukoko Village candidates and any possible bonus or magical candidates. The article also covers the part-time help system a little bit. You talk to the agency person, who will tell you about a request for help from a villager. You then go to the villager to complete the task; in the article there is a screen shot of Lishette requesting the player to chop some wood. Once completed, talk to the person you're helping to receive your payment. Sometimes you'll be given an item instead of money. Jobs can range from simply chopping wood, to shipping crops or delivering mail. Mail? Yes, Precious Friends has a post office in Westown called the Postino. You can send presents, Happy Birthday letters, or status reports to the villagers, and receive a response to your house's mailbox after a few days. You pick your recipient, the stationary to use, the present you want to send, and then pay a small postal fee. There might be Postinos in other towns, but it is too soon to know at the moment. Crops will also have new qualities to them: color, flavor, juiciness, and size. There doesn't appear to be a freshness quality, but there is a locality status that discloses where the crop originated from (e.g., Radish is from Westown). Depending on the Farm Circle you construct near your crops, the resulting combo will affect the various qualities of the crops. For example, the article explains placing the Cactus object by your crops will influence flavor, the Flower Cart will influence color, and the Floral Fountain will influence juiciness. Mine nodes are back in the game, as the Famitsu article displayed a screen shot of the player hitting a mining point in Westown. screen shot Don't forget to keep an eye on the official Bokumono Twitter! The admin has been posting some unique screen shots of the game in development, including pictures of a customized house interior, the player catching a fish, and the player petting a calico cat. Next week the official website will be updating with information about the game. Also from Japan, the mobile Bokumono for Mobage is celebrating its 6th anniversary. The game also recently launched on the Ameba social platform. Until next time! - Cher (The area Home/Garden Show is tomorrow. Maybe I can find some unique crop seeds to grow this year!)
