HM:OW Mythical Animals DLC and May 2021 BokuMobile Events | Posted at 09:20 AM 09 May 2021

Happy Farm'n Friday Saturday! Some of the seeds planted last week have sprouted: zinnias, sunflowers, carrots, and tomatoes! Even the seeds from the "wildflower mix" seed packet have started popping up. Those ones are fun because some of the plants that pop up out of those are pretty neat. Last year, a lupine started growing from a random pack of wildflower seeds, and it's come back this year.

The seed mix was also scattered among the iris that resulted in some rather ugly-looking plants that didn't die off during the winter. When springtime came around, the scraggly plants bloomed into neat-looking flowers in various shades of orange and yellow. They look really nice among the purple iris. No idea what they are called, though!

Famitsu hasn't published their sales data for April 26-May 2 yet, so perhaps next week we'll see if SoS:PoOT continues to stay on their top-30 sales list.

HM:OW Mythical Animals DLC

The fourth DLC bundle for Harvest Moon: One World released this week. The Mythical Wild Animals DLC adds new wild animals that roam around different areas of the world. Whereas the Precious Pet DLC had a mix of wild and store-bought pets, this pack's animals are all free to tame.

The large animals need space in your barn to live on your farm. The small animals can live inside the farmhouse if you have room for them, which varies depending on the size of your house.

The location where you can find all the mythical wild animals are:

American Black Bear
In the alcove just before the western Halo Halo entrance

Calisson Sasquash
In the small area between Mom's house and the Calisson farm

Cougar
Between the Jungle/Halo Halo bridge and the Jungle farm area

Halo Halo Sasquash
By the coconut trees near the bridge to the Pastilla desert

Lava Rabbit
Along the path from Lebkuchen towards the volcano field

Lebkuchen Sasquash
In the large clearing between Lebkuchen and the bridge to the desert

Mint Tiger
In the northeast corner of the Pastilla desert

Pastilla Sasquash
In the northwest corner of the Pastilla desert, but east of the desert farm space

Salamiakki Sasquash
In the large mountain clearing north of Salamiakki

Sun Parakeet
In the same spot as Couger, but during the day

Wolf
In the empty area at the top of the hill in Calisson

The Lava Rabbit was inadvertently unlocked in the game from the Far East Adventure DLC, but its encyclopedia entry wasn't available until the Mythical Wild Animals DLC was released.
