Happy Farm'n Friday! I hope you all are doing well. Most folks here in the Portland-area are now wearing masks at the grocery store as mandated by the state health authority. Our case numbers are still increasing, unfortunately. It will take a little bit to see if the new mask mandate will slow things down.
Summertime means the backyard blueberry bushes are producing lots of fruit. Last year we harvested quite a bit, but this year the bushes have grown so. many. berries. I'll pick a few pints of fruit, and then a few days later, there's more to pick! In the morning, there are blueberries in my cereal (50/50 berries and granola at this point), we put them in cornbread and muffins, and even mixed up some blueberry smoothies. Now we're freezing them before they lose their bluey-goodness! I may be making blueberry jam to give away during the holiday season.
The Playstation 4 version of Doraemon: Story of Seasons is getting closer to release in Japan. The Ps4 version of the Nintendo Switch game will be released on July 30 for 6100円 (about $57 USD). The Nobi Furniture Set and free seed bags are available as a preorder bonus.
The Ps4 version is scheduled for a September 4 release date in North America.
I haven't seen any information as to whether there have been changes made to the Ps4 version of the game. Will keep an eye out though!
The Nintendo Switch version of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is now available in Europe and Australia!
The DLC costumes are in the Nintendo eShop for purchase for €1.99 (EU) and $3.00 (AUS). Both physical and digital versions of the game support the optional DLC. The costumes available on the eShop include the Cow Costume (which was free for digital preorders), the Chicken Costume, the Dog Costume, the Chick Costume, and the Sheep Costume. The Reindeer Costume and the Cherry-Nature Sprite Costume come with the game, as they originally were free outfits included with updates to the Japanese version of the game.
The Steam version has the same July 14 release date as the North American Nintendo Switch version.
To celebrate the release of Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town in Europe and Australia, Marvelous EU has translated the online comic from Japan into English, Spanish, German, and French, and posted it on the official EU website. The comic introduces the protagonist to Mineral Town and all the exciting adventures he'll have:
Natsume revealed some info about the male protagonist in their upcoming Switch/Ps4 game, Harvest Moon: One World.
Introducing the male main character of #HarvestMoon: One World! We’ve got lots of name ideas – what’s your suggestion? ;)

Hmm... he needs a name? He kind of reminds me of an "Edwin" or an "Everett." Maybe "Claude" or "Wesley." How about "Russet" based on his adversion to potatoes? Yea, that's the winner right there! That guy is a "Russet."
Until next time!
