The town carpenter can be found in the mountain area. His shop is open from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Sundays and Mondays. He had to learn the local language to communicate, so sometimes his sentences are simplistic, but his skills as a carpenter and ore refiner are quite advanced.

Hanna runs the restaurant in town, which is open 10:00 am until 8:00 pm and closed on Mondays and Fridays don'cha know. She cooks the best food in town. Hanna will encourage you to come grab a bite to eat if you're ever feeling tired.

Iris runs the flower seed shop in town, which is open 10:00 am to 6:00 pm during the weekday. She also sells fertilizer necessary to mutate certain crops. You don't need to use fertilizer to mutate any flower varieties though. She is a cheery shopkeeper and hopes that you'll become good friends with her daughter, April.

Brutus' youngest son spends his days wandering around the town and the pathway to your farm. He has an independent attitude and wants to become a great blacksmith like his dad. He is too young to be managing the forge or building anything though.

This reporter is always looking around for the next big news story. Naturally there isn't much to report on in Chestnut Town! She lives in the house that is south of Sam's shop with her daughter.

Much like Jimmy, Sally is very independent and spends a lot of time on her own. She lives with her mom, Naomi, in Chestnut Town. She doesn't want you to think that her small size means that she's a weakling.

This merchant sets up shop in town every day from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm. You can sell items to him as an option to using your shipping bin on your farm. Sam has a daughter and wife who doesn't travel to Chestnut Town with him. If you sell enough crop mutations, then Sam will start to sell the seeds for that crop.
The three Harvest Sprites live on your farm all day and all night. You can enter the Sprite Tree to visit them before 8:00 am and after 6:00 pm. The other magical deities will always be found in their mountain shrines.

Blossom is a friend to all flowers. The pink sprite is excessively cheery and talks using strange made-up words.

This blue sprite is a bit of a grouch, but that's just Dewy's cool nature. This sprite will remind you about watering your crops and is fond of fish.

The Underworld King sealed himself off from the upper world until one day the boulder blocking his doorway is accidentally blown away. He is not too happy to see you at first, but he will warm up to you as you bring him gifts from the surface world.

The Harvest Goddess is the guide for the Harvest Sprites. She will give them advice and help them with their problems. She lives in a shrine on the top of the mountain.

You need to grow the Skytree Seedling to reach the Harvest God's shrine in the clouds. When you do get a chance to visit, he'll be impressed that a mortal was able to reach his domain. He has a soft spot for the Harvest Goddess down below.
