To get married you need to build the Large House upgrade. Once you trigger the person's four music note events, the Harvest Goddess will give you the Blue Feather to propose with.
Villagers will visit your farm once you have at least 2.5 music notes of friendship.

The mysterious wizard runs a fortune telling shop in the northeast corner of Chestnut Town. Gareth will give you advice that he has discovered while researching various plants in the mountain, but in general it is not as beneficial as the advice given to you by Tabitha.

Gilbert used to travel from place to place with his grandfather, singing to any audience who would listen to him, until he found himself alone. Eventually Gilbert and his rhymes made it to the mountain area where he set up camp to entertain the villagers at Luke's bar.

Hunter runs the animal shop in Chestnut Town. He has a country accent and tends to keep to himself, as he prefers the company of cows. He has a small herd of moo-moos outside his shop that he cares for.

Luke runs a bar in Chestnut Town that is open from 6:00 pm until 2:00 am, closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. He doesn't actually have an inventory to purchase items from, but he prides in his ability to listen to his patron's worries.

As an apprentice blacksmith, Tony helps Brutus with the refining and remodeling business. Tony wants to impress his dad with his smithing abilities, but his low self-esteem seems to get in his way. He is impressed how you can run a whole farm on your own.
