The Ushi No Tane websites specialize in information, FAQs, and guides about the Nintendo console versions of the Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, and Legend of the River King video games. These game genres are created and published in Japan by Marvelous (JP). In other regions, you'll find Natsume, XSeed Games/Marvelous (USA), Marvelous (EU), and Rising Star involved in the series' release.

The latest version of the mainstream farming series that have been released in various regions of the world are:

The latest version of River King, in all regions of the world, is River King: Mystic Valley (JP 2007, NA 2008, EU 2009).

Since 2000, Ushi no Tane has been run by a grouchy old lady who happens to be fond of video game agriculture along with two feline helpers: Intern Captain Bootu and Intern Hondo Mewnaka. The website is not officially affiliated, sponsored, endorsed, or employed by the developers of Harvest Moon, Story of Seasons, or River King. This is simply a fan site.

Skytree Village CE Preorders | Posted at 08:28 AM 22 July 2016
Happy Farm'n Friday! Turns out we misread the itinerary for our grand adventure. It doesn't start until this afternoon, which gives some farm'n news update time this morning! So no Farm'n Friday update next Friday. The Media Create sales of Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns was a bit off from last week. I read last week's sale as the previous week's sales, so the 3DS game didn't sell another 30,000 copies; it only sold an estimated 15,400 physical copies, putting its sales at 146,600 for week #3 since release. I apologize for not being a tad more careful. Week #4 puts an additional 9,800 physical copy sales, placing it at a total of 156,400 physical copies sold since the game's release on June 23rd. Preorders for the English version of 3oT are now available on various online retailers. No word yet if North America will receive the same bubble cow charm that the Japanese players received. XSeed posted the links via their Twitter and Facebook pages: Remember, any release date you see on a website is just an unofficial placeholder date. The official release date has not been announced yet. In North America, NIS America is now offering a Harvest Moon: Skytree Village limited collector's edition preorder on their website. The Prinny-run company has teamed up with Natsume to supply a special version of the farming developer's latest release. The limited collector's edition comes with a copy of the Nintendo 3DS game (of course), a CD soundtrack, a softcover art book, 6 animal-themed lapel pins, and a yet-to-be-revealed Blue Feather keychain, all packaged in a pretty collector's box! The whole package costs $49.99. You can check it out on the NISA Online Store:

It has been a while since the last update about PotatoLand. The green stalks of the spud sovereignty are beginning to turn yellow. Once it all dies back, then the potatoes should be ready to harvest after about a week. Until next time! - Cher (A 10-hour flight should be plenty of time to tackle my 3DS backlog...)
