Natsume @ PAX West, 3oT Clothing System | Posted at 07:14 AM 02 September 2016
The west-side version of the Penny Arcade Expo (PAX West) starts this weekend in Seattle. The Natsume community manager, CeeCee, will be visiting the show along with the thousands of other attendees. If you happen to be there too and spot her, you may be the winner of "Hide and go CeeCee-k" and possibly receive a prize. Oh ho ho! CeeCee plans on giving hints where you might be able to sneak up and glomp on her, which she'll post on the Natsume social media accounts: Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns has dropped off the Top-30 sales ranking from Famitsu. Last week's retail sales were below 2300, so it no longer ranks. That's not to say that it isn't selling, just that it isn't selling enough to be on the list. As written on the official Bokumono blog, the next DLC update for the game is finished and awaiting release on the Nintendo 3DS eShop, which is expected to be sometime this September. Producer Hashimoto states that this update will include four new outfits for the main character, selected by the staff who developed Rune Factory, as Rune Factory 1 (and Innocent Life) recently celebrated the 10th anniversary of their Japanese release dates. screen shotSpeaking of outfits, it is a bit easier to construct clothing outfits in this version of Bokujou Monogatari compared to the chore set before players in the previous version. You are still required to collect the necessary materials for crafting the outfit, but it isn't a massive multi-step process anymore. The Sewing Studio maker shed can create both regular and colored cloth without having to convert it into yarn. The basic White Cloth, Black Llama Cloth, and Brown Alpaca Cloth don't require anything more than putting the wool into the Sewing Studio, but the other cloths will require an extra ingredient instead of an extra step. Depending on the color of cloth you are trying to craft, you will have to add in an appropriate color of material. For example, red-colored cloth needs any red or pink flower, green-colored cloth needs any herb, and black-colored cloth needs a Scrap Ore. If you want to color plus-quality wool, then the color ingredient also increases in difficulty by requiring an appropriate colored ore or gem. Many of these colored items can be purchased from village merchants in mass quantities. Once you have the required cloth, you then visit the shop that can craft clothing outfits. In Westown you'll talk to Miranda, in Tsuyakusa it is Shizu, and in Lulukoko it is Ludus. Having the right materials in your bag or in your farmhouse storage will make the outfit selectable in the shop inventory. There is even a small preview of the outfit so you get a feel of what the finished product will look like. Once you pay the fee and hand over the materials, you will not get the outfit right away. Outfits and accessories take at least 1 business day to craft for you. The next time you visit the shop, whether the next day or many days later, the merchant will tell you that the item is finished and have it transported instantly to your farmhouse closet. Each outfit or accessory can be purchased/crafted one time and cannot be removed from your closet once they have been placed there. Until next time! - Cher (My garden San Marzano tomatoes better not mutate into Red Zeppelin tomatoes...)
