Upstairs, you see Veronica and Angela talking at the table. Veronica seems annoyed, and is telling Angela that she doesn't have the time, while Angela is trying to point out that her lack of free time is the problem. She works too much!
You walk into view, so Angela complains to you that her mother won't listen to her. She wants her mother to get a health checkup, but Veronica argues it isn't necessary and besides, she doesn't have the time! Eventually, Angela becomes frustrated with Veronica and leaves.
Veronica apologizes for putting you through this and invites you to have tea with her.
Choice 1: Take a seat (+1000 FP with Veronica)
Veronica explains that her daughter thinks she works too much, but Veronica feels fine. She understands that Angela is worried about her, but to tell the truth, Veronica hates going to visit the doctor! He's not a bad person, but she doesn't know how to explain it to her daughter.
Choice 2: Follow Angela (+1000 FP with Angela)
Angela tells you that she is worried about her mom's health. Veronica works from morning until evening, which should make her pretty tired. She understands that her mom's work keeps her very busy, but she still wants her to have a health checkup. Angela doesn't feel that her mom understands her concern.
You go back and talk to Veronica, who tells you she does understand he daughter's worry, but to tell the truth, Veronica hates going to visit the doctor! He's not a bad person, but she doesn't know how to explain it to her daughter.
You leave the table and go talk to Angela, who didn't realize her mom was that nervous about the town doctor. Angela explains that after she does the exam, she goes over the diagnosis with the doctor, then will personally give the results to her mom. Angela asks you to explain it to her.
Back at the table, you tell her how it goes. Veronica is relieved to know that Angela would be doing the exam. Angela returns, thank you for your help, and asks again if Veronica would get a health check up. Veronica understands, but asks that she not tell Marian about her anxiety. Both of them thank you for your assistance
