The first optional download content for Light of Hope was released the same day as the game in North America for Switch/Ps4; on PC, this was released on August 14. It contains a variety of cosmetic fence decorations and statutes you can build to place out in the field areas.

The DLC also includes a higher-level Ancient watering can and Ancient hoe upgrde available at Gus' Blacksmith Shop after you construct the Sacred Watering Can and Sacred Hoe. While the Sacred tools cover a 3x5 area (15 squares), the Ancient tools cover 3x7 (21 squares) when powered up. Gus require 10 Mithril, 10 Orichalcum, 5 Adamantite, and 100,000 G to power up a Sacred Watering Can or Sacred Hoe to an Ancient version.

The Holy Watering Can and Holy Hoe unlock after you construct the Ancient version. The Holy tool upgrade requires 33 Adamantite and 300,000 G. These tools cover a 3x10 area (30 squares).

The fence and decorations are at Doc's shop once you rebuild his house while locating the third Lighthouse tablet. You can craft more than one of each item.
