Winter 14 - Valentine's Day
Note: In the European version of the game, this event is called the Candy Festival.
On Winter 14 you can give dessert dishes to your potential marriage candidates who live in any of the three towns. If you are playing as the boy farmer, you can give desserts to Iluka, Lisette, Kasumi, Komari, Siluka, and Stephanie. If you are playing as the girl farmer, you can give desserts to Ford, Hinata, Ludus, Wayne, Woofio, and Yuzuki. Inari does not respond any different on this day unless you have downloaded the DLC to your game.
For each candidate you give a dessert gift to you'll earn +2000 Friendship Points (FP) with the person as well as +5 Attention Points (AP). You will also receive a dessert dish from that person as thanks for giving a gift in the first place. You are free to take that dish and regift it to someone else, so technically you just need to give one dessert to get started! The other candidates won't care if you're giving the same gift you just received from someone else. The dessert also does not count for the one-gift-per-day rule, so you can give a normal gift afterwards too.
Any recipe you have in the dessert category of your cookbook will be acceptable. You won't receive bonus points for making a chocolate-based gift or something based on the person's favorite fruit. Some simple dessert recipes to create are:
- Pudding: 1 egg + 1 milk. This recipe can be bought from Brad in Westown at the beginning of the game. Milk and eggs can be bought from Bon Marshe in Westown if you don't own the appropriate farm animals.
- Coffee Jelly: 1 Coffee Pack + 1 Sugar + 1 milk. You can buy Coffee Pack and milk from Bon Marshe, and Sugar from Ittetsu in Tsuyukusa. The recipe is at Brad's restaurant once Westown reaches Rank D.
- Cornflakes: 1 Corn + 1 milk. Brad sells this recipe once Westown reaches Rank D. Corn is a summer season crop.
If you are going steady with someone or you are married, go into your farm house to trigger a cut scene with your sweetie. The two of you will sit at your table and enjoy eating the desserts you made for each other.
If you are married, you will give a gift to your spouse to trigger a special meal event where your gifted desert will be enjoyed by your spouse at the table inside your farm house. You'll also receive a desert in your bag.
