Friend Event - Tart of War

Walk into the Garden Grill and you'll find Brad, but he warns you that it is best for you to leave. Carrie invites you to have a seat while she prepares the food. It's too late for you now, so Brad shows you to the table where Wayne and Hector are both trapped. Brad explains that Carrie has zero talent for cooking. He typically keeps her out of the kitchen, but every so often she gets an idea for a new recipe and wants to give it a try. So she has a party to unveil her... creative cuisine. Hector complains that Brad should be the one handling all the taste testing, but he counters that it would be fatal if he did it all himself! Besides, we can't have Carrie giving the biohazard "leftovers" to Colin and Megan.

Carrie brings out her new recipe for a cherry tart, including a secret ingredient. Every takes a taste and it is not good; it is almost as though it has sand in it... wait, it IS sand! Carrie asks how you like it.

Carrie is glad that you enjoyed her cherry tart, while the others are impressed with how you handled the strange situation.

Oh, she only meant for the sand to create a mood. Carrie didn't put any inside of the dish. Ah, Brad says you probably meant that the dish reminds you of your hometown. The whipped cream tastes superb. Wayne comments that cows probably never imagined their milk would be in something like this...

Somehow you get through the dessert. Brad tells everyone that if they're feeling unwell, head to Ford's clinic and he'll pay for the treatment.
