Walk into the Garden Grill and you'll hear Carrie yell out to you. Upstairs, she explains that her spouse is not feeling well and needs to rest. Dr. Ford is here too. Brad doesn't look so well, but Ford is convinced that Brad has simply caught a cold. The chef asks for some medicine, so Ford pulls out a new medicine he had been working on that should kill the virus and reduce Brad's fever. Before Ford could explain its side effects, Brad consumes all the medicine! It only takes a few seconds for Brad to feel better, but suddenly he jumps out of bed and runs out of the room! Ford continues to explain that while his new medicine is good for healing colds, it still needs some adjusting. With the amount of medicine that Brad took, it made him very energetic. Even so, there was no need for him to take off like that.
Choice 1: You gave him medicine that dangerous?
Ford is not pleased with what you are implying. The formula is almost perfect; the issue is the dosage that was consumed!
Result: -1000 FP with Ford
Choice 2: Won't he relapse?
Ah yes, you are clever. Ford is impressed with your question and tells you that the fever might return once Brad exhausts himself from running.
Result +2000 FP with Ford
Ford asks that you go stop Brad, as at this rate he'll tire himself out. You run out of the building to catch up with Brad, who can't seem to stop running. You block his path and the two of you collide. He is so tired from all the running that he ends up back in bed.
Ford thanks you for helping Brad, even though the chef should of listened to the doctor. If had not been for you, Brad would of still be running. Ford admits that he wouldn't of been able to catch him; you see, Ford didn't want to get all sweaty. Although it looks like you may have gotten a little sweaty from carrying Brad. Ford picks another potion out of his pocket and asks you to drink it. The potion is suppose to make your sweat immediatly evaporate... although he's never tested this one on a person before. You quickly make an exit and leave Ford wondering why his friends never let him finish his explanations.
