Emily
Emily comes to the valley in search of tasty ingredients that she and her mother, Hanna, can use in their restaurant in Hillsville. She has a very cheery personality and is always glad to see that you are doing well. Emily wants to help her mom with the restaurant, so she wants to increase her cooking abilities.
When you start your life out in the valley you will run into Hanna and Emily near the end of your first season, typically after you have collected at least 5 milk from the cow that Hunter gives to you. You'll get the cow by placing the Barn in the valley that you receive from Doc, who unlocks once you have returned the Goddess' Bracelet to the Harvest Goddess.
