Friend Event - Brad's Knife

Brad seems to be upset over something. Carrie and Marco explain that the knife Brad always uses has broke, and Brad is in shock over it. He's more upset that the broken knife was the one that Carrie had bought for him. He used it with every dish that he cooked. Without that knife, Brad can't even peel an onion! Brad just wants to sulk in the corner.

Marco is surprised to see Brad in this mood. Carrie says it is her responsibility to get Brad through this, but she asks if you would volunteer to help.

Upstairs in their kitchen, Carrie ask that you help her cook a dish. Whenever she asks Marco for help, he ends up doing most of the work for her. She wants to be the one to make it.

After she finishes cooking, you and Carrie take it downstairs to the restaurant. Brad admits he doesn't have the stamina to try and eat her food at the moment; it does smell good though. In fact, this food is delicious! Carrie tells him this dish is the same one he made for her before they were married, back when he was just starting out as a chef. She wanted to be able to make it too, so whenever a customer would order the dish Carrie would secretly watch Brad make it to learn how he did it. It is the only dish she can make that tastes the same as if he made it. Carrie reminds him that back then he told her that his greatest pleasure is to see someone happily eat his food. It made her so proud of his work that she wanted to be with him as he worked up to being a better chef. Carrie understand how much the knife meant to him, but it really hurts her to see him in so much pain over it. She wants her happy Brad back in the kitchen! Brad understands and thanks her for being so understanding.

You and Marco are watching from across the restaurant. Marco is impressed with Carrie, but also impressed that she actually managed to cook something!
