Antiques and Collectables

The antiquities shop is open on Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 to 19:00. Mistel runs his shop out of the first floor of the house he shares with his big sister, Iris. Mistel doesn't actually sell antiques, but he sells construction materials and blueprints for you to make decorative objects for your farm house as well as clothing patterns for making new outfits.

Most of the blueprints and patterns he offers for sale require special criteria to be met before they'll appear in his shop inventory. You are suppose to get a letter in your farm house mailbox when he has a new pattern or blueprint for sale, but there's been quite a few times that I haven't received any inventory notifications from him when new items become available. It may be a good idea for you to check his shop every so often to see if anything new is for sale.

For the animal costume patterns, you need to actually sew the outfit with your Sewing Room. For example, if you happen to buy a Penguin Costume from Suzanne the traveling salesperson, that will not unlock the sewing pattern for the Knight's Armor. Simply owning the completed outfit will not meet the requirements.
