Destiny's Fortune's Favors
The fellow cloaked in purple, Destiny, will set up a fortune teller stall in the bazaar once you reach Rank 6 (National). Talk to him in the bazaar grounds to learn of his requirements.
Telling Fortunes at the Bazaar: Destiny would like to see how popular this little town bazaar is, as a means to determine whether it is worth making the effort to set up shop. He asks that you achieve a total of 1 million G in sales during the bazaar sessions. Basically, do what you would have done anyway until you reach the cumulative 1,000,000 G goal.
Once unlocked, talk to Destiny during the bazaar and pay 3000 G to receive one of three fortunes, which will influence your market stall profits:
- Bazaar Bulk Sales Up: Adds 2 quantity to the customer's desired purchase quantity. If the customer would have typically wanted to buy 3 items, then they'll ask for 5 items instead.
- Bazaar Sales Price Up: You'll earn 20% more profit with each sale.
- Bazaar Quick Sale Up: When pressing the action button during a transaction, the number of items sold at each press will be 2 instead of 1. This helps to clear the sale faster and move on to the next waiting customer.
Though Destiny can give a fortune at any time during the bazaar period (10:00 am to 7:00 pm), the bazaar buff is only useful during your morning and afternoon market shifts. For example, receiving a fortune after your afternoon bazaar shift will not carry over to the next week's bazaar; it's essentially useless to you at that point. Ideally, you will want to utilize Destiny before your morning bazaar shift, as the buff will last through both market periods.
