Flower Festival
This festival takes place on Tuesday and Wednesday of the second week of spring.
The goal of this two-day event is to give flowers to as many villagers as you can. The flowers can be farm-grown (better) or wild (good). Bouquets (best) are also valid gifts, which you can make using the red windmill on your farm. Giving flowers will earn you a boost of friendship. Whoever gives the most flowers will be crowned the Best Neighbor and receive a small award, such as Green Tea.
To begin Day 1 of the festival, talk to Mayor Felix in the town plaza between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm. Giving flowers to the villagers before starting the festival will not count towards earning the Best Neighbor title. You will then have until the next day at 12:00 pm (noon) to give everyone flowers.
Once the festival begins, all the villagers run off to their standard schedule locations. Meaning, on the first day of the festival, you have to hunt them down one by one to give them a flower. You can give one flower per day to each person. The flower gifts are in addition to any normal gift you give. Essentially, during this two-day event you can give two gifts to each person - one flower and one of something else.
At the end of the festival (12:00 pm the next day), the villagers will gather together in the town plaza, where you can give flowers to everyone you may have missed. Then talk to Mayor Felix will begin the festival results at 12:00 pm and continue until 4:00 pm. The person who gives the most flowers (20 or greater) will receive a small prize. You will also receive a Flower Festival Trophy the first time you earn the Best Neighbor award, which can be displayed on the Memento Shelf inside your farmhouse. Gifting 19 or fewer flowers will result in nothing.
Giving flowers after 12:00 pm on Day 2 of the festival will count as a regular gift and not a Flower Festival gift.
Animal Show
This festival happens on either the second third Friday of the season, starting in year 2.
This is a rank-based contest where the relationship (friendship + happiness) with your animals is judged by Woofio. If you win, the quality of the goods the winning animal produces will increase. In fact, every animal of that type will have a boost in quality. For example, winning with a Chicken will increase egg quality for all Chickens, but will not influence egg quality of Silkie Chickens because that's a different animal family. A Cow is different from a Buffalo. You get the idea.
To begin, talk to Mayor Felix in the town plaza from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. He'll ask you to select the contest entry from your barn. Pick the animal with the most number of friendship hearts as your best contestant, then sit back and let the judging begin!
- For bronze rank, the animal needs at least 5 markers (friendship + happiness)
- For silver rank, the animal must have won bronze rank and have at least 10 markers.
- For gold rank, the animal must have won silver rank and have at least 16 markers.
Having a full Health bar is also important. A sick animal, even by just a little bit, will reduce your chance of taking first place.
Bronze first-prize will receive 9 Delicious Fodder Seeds, a large boost to the animal's friendship and happiness, and a large boost with the villagers' friendship levels. First-time winners will also receive a Bronze Animal Show trophy for the Memento display shelf and a Animal Show Bronze Decor item for the bazaar stall. Second-place will receive 9 fodder seeds and medium boosts, while third place receives 10 Fodder and small boosts.
A bronze-show winner can be entered into a future show to earn silver rank, and then entered again to win gold. You don't have to enter the same animal to win future ranks. The future contest entry animal simply has to be from the same family as the past winner.
A silver rank first-place winner will receive 9 Fast Fodder Seeds and a large boost in villager friendship and animal friendship/happiness levels. First-time winners will also receive a Silver Animal Show trophy and an Animal Show Silver Decor bazaar stall item. Second place winners will get 9 Delicious Fodder Seeds and medium boosts. A third-place finisher in the silver rank competition will receive 20 Fodder and small boosts.
The highest-level gold place winner will receive 9 Soothing Fodder Seeds and a large boost in villager friendship, animal friendship, and animal happiness. First-time winners will also get the Gold Animal Show trophy for the memento shelf and a Gold Animal Show Decor for the bazaar booth. Second-place in the gold competition will receive 9 Fast Fodder seeds and a medium boost with the villagers and contest entry animal. Third place will receive 30 Fodder and a small boost of friendship/happiness.
The products produced by the winning animal will also expand past 5 stars of quality. Bronze winners can produce 6-star quality goods, while silver winners can produce 7-star quality goods. Winning a Gold-rank Animal Festival will add your BRAND mark to the produced goods, resulting in a 3x boost to the products' sale price.
Miguel will start accepting orders for Delicious Fodder Seeds, (420 G), Fast Fodder Seeds (420 G), and Soothing Fodder Seeds (1260 G) after you acquire them, either from a contest win, a title achievement, or any other way.
Honey Day
This festival occurs on either the third Friday of Spring or the fourth Friday, depending on how many Fridays appear during the season.
This romantic event lets you raise affection with the marriage candidates by giving them a sweet, sticky treat. In your first year, Mayor Felix will visit the farm in the morning of the 20th to give you the run-down of this event. He'll also give you the recipe for Honey Cake and 5 Honey, as you won't have any bee boxes at this point in the game.
On this day, give treats of Honey, Invigorating Honey, Mellow Honey, Royal Honey, or Honey Cake to the bachelors and bachelorettes. Honey Juice and honeycomb do not count for this event. This special Honey Day gift is in addition to a regular gift. Essentially, you can give two gifts to the candidates on this day - one normal gift and one Honey Day gift.
Kagetsu and Samir do not participate in the first-year Honey Day, but they do starting in year 2. Also, the non-marriage candidates will not accept Honey Day gifts.
Honey Cake is the ideal affection boost gift, which requires 1 Wheat Flour + 1 Egg + 1 Honey to make using your kitchen. You'll need to use the red windmill to grind Wheat into Wheat Flour or purchase it at Felix's bazaar shop. Miguel's shop in Zephyr Town sells this ingredient only after you trigger the Miguel's Love Language scene.
If you run out of honey, Cafe Madeleine sells Honey for 420 G a piece just for this special day, with a limit of 10 for sale.
When your friendship with the marriage candidate is at least 3 hearts or greater, you will receive a gift in return. The food they give in exchange will depend on whether you gave regular 'ol honey or the highly-coveted Honey Cake.
- Arata: Toasted Mochi or Baked Apple
- Derek: Chestnut Paste or Steamed Cake
- Diana: Egg Tart or Pancakes
- Gabriel: Chocolate Banana or Donuts
- Freya: Strawberry Mochi or Churros

- June: Herb Cake or Cherry Pie
- Kagetsu: Moon Dumplings or Fruit Dumplings
- Lloyd: Chocolate Cookies or Chocolate Fondue
- Maple: Pudding or Pumpkin Pudding
- Samir: Castella or Baumkuchen
- Sophie: Cake or Chocolate Cake
If you are married, in the morning on Honey Day your spouse will give you 1 5-Star Honey Cake. You can still give honey treats to the leftover marriage candidates.
Crops Show
This event beings in year 2 on either the third or fourth Monday of the season, depending on the number of Mondays.
In this festival, this season's plant produce is judged based on star rank. Each category won will increase the maximum star rank of future-produced crops. Ideally, entering (and winning) using crops that regrow will give you more bang for your buck compared to entering single-harvest crops. The multi-harvest crops that are harvestable during spring are Broccoli, Tea Leaves, and Garlic; everything else are single-harvest crops. Fruit trees are Avocado, Coffee, Cherry, and Orange.
Between 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm, head to the town plaza. Have the contest entry crop held in your hands and talk to Mayor Felix to submit the entry. Crop master Matsuba will then judge the crop based on its star rank. The higher, the better!
- Bronze rank: "Perfectly Fresh" and 2 stars of quality or higher
- Silver rank: "Perfectly Fresh" and 5 stars of quality or higher
- Gold Rank: "Perfectly Fresh" and 7 stars of quality (it can't go any higher!)
Winning the bronze rank will reward you with 9 Rice seeds of 1.5-Star rank, a large boost of friendship with the villagers, and a max limit of 6 stars for the winning crop's star rank. Second place is 9 Radish Seeds of 1.5-Star rank and a medium boost of friendship, and third place is 30 Fertilizer (1.5-Star) and a small bit of friendship with the villagers. First-time bronze winners will also receive a Crop Show Bronze Trophy to display on the farmhouse Memento shelf and a Crops Show Bronze Decor small decoration for the bazaar stall.
Silver rank grand-prize winners receive 9 Tea Seedlings Seeds (3-star), a large boost of friendship with the villagers, and a max limit of 7 stars of quality. First time silver rank winters also receive a Crop Show Silver Trophy and a Crops Show Silver Decor. Second place in silver receives 9 Radish Seeds (3-Star) and medium friendship boosts. Third place is 30 Fertilizer (3-star) and a small boost of friendship.
High-ranking gold contest winners receive 54 Onion Seeds (5-Star), the large friendship boost, and a BRAND associated with the winning crop, which boosts the sale price by 3x. Second-place gold winners receive 9 Radish Seeds (5-Star) and a medium friendship boost, while third place awards 30 Fertilizer (5-Star) and a small friendship boost.
A branded crop will lose its BRAND status once processed or cooked.
Tea Party
This event happens on the fourth Thursday of the season.
This festival is a gathering of drinks and sweets in the town plaza. Mayor Felix will stop by on the 26th of your first year to explain the event and give you 1 Spring Tea Leaves in case you haven't grown any yet on your farm. Otherwise, Miguel sells Tea Seeds at his stall in the bazaar for 140 G each. The crop takes about 9 days to mature.
Qualifying items include the loose tea leaves, canned tea (made using the yellow windmill), and drinkable tea.
On the 27th, head to the town plaza between 12:00 pm (noon) and 4:00 pm. Hold your tea party offering, and then talk to the mayor to start the party. You'll see a short cut scene, and at the end, Madeleine will send you home with some snacks, depending on the Star Rank of your submission. The friendship you gain with the villagers will also be influenced by the quality of your tea.
- 2-Star or less: Walnut Cookies and a small friendship boost
- 2.5-Star to 3.5-Star: Whole Cake and a medium friendship boost
- 4-Star or greater: Pineapple Pie and a large friendship boost
